He is now desperately trying to justify his actions. Bottom line, he knew she was a climate protester, he was angry that she was 'spoiling' his wealthy, privileged meal and he took action wholly expected from a bully boy misogynist. They all try to say sorry after the violence.
Would he have slammed a well built male and grabbed him by the throat? I think not. The man is a coward. If you or I was seen by a police officer doing this we’d be arrested. The same should apply here regardless if you support the protest or not, it does not give him the freedom to physically assault people.
We’re the other female protesters present (watch the footage) Man handled by other men in the room in the same way? No...they weren’t. He was out of order and completely over the top. He grabbed her by the throat and you think that’s ok?
Throat? he grabbed the back of her neck, not sure what video you watched.
she shouldn't have been there and he did the right thing.
Everyone living in London would be affected by such horrendous and sometimes seemingly random stabbings. I think what you mean to say is that 'the elite' as you describe them, have not directly been involved But, by being ''the elite' they may face threats of aggression on a more regular basis than average working class individuals. That aggression is never far away, in fact it's often expressed by 'lefties' on this site.
I know what I said and what I meant to say. I think you have had a bit of a mare on this thread so we’ll draw a line under it.
Open Question, who pays for the Mansion house dinner?
Do individual diners have to stump up or is the whole thing tax/rate payer funded?
The City of London Corporation. Essentially the local council. I very much doubt that anyone attending one of the dinners has had to pay for their grub.

If that is the case I would say any peaceful protest is entirely legitimate in a free and democratic society.
If you believe it was acceptable for your mother to hit you,,then you must also believe it's ok for you to hit your own kids.
If we were naughty as children she’d occasionally give a slap across the bum and marched to the room. It never done us any harm and just talking to lads on site and they all recall similar from their parents as kids, one saying “if anyone says otherwise they’re a f***ing liar”
I don't know where to start here... ."She was a person up to no good"...she was publicly demonstrating against the man-made death of our planet. I agree that he was in his right to prevent her accessing the speech area, but he did it completely incorrectly and used excess force. I hope he loses his job the twunt.....and it is never right to hit kids if they are being naughty.
She shouldn’t have been in there so she was up to no good! It’s been reported today that she was up the North Sea a few days ago on a boat under an oil rig and a load of them climbed up on the rig to try and stop them digging for oil and a number of them were arrested. These are not peaceful protestors, they are idiots who not only risk themselves but others also.

The lack of respect in children today, and how parents discipline them, is frightening as a walk around any supermarket will show you
You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game
Judging someone because they don’t share the same opinion as you says more about you than it does me mate. Nothing a good slap across the bum won’t sort out though.

I'll let others judge the character of someone who thinks it's ok to slap kids.
Are you also advocating slapping me or just your own kids?
I never said a few slaps, but when mummy and daddy are pleading with little johnny to behave, and he's laughing in their faces.
March him out straight to bed confiscate his I phone and games console.
But they can do that can't they? Denying privileges is exactly the right thing. They just rightly can't leather seven shades of shit out of him, which is what 'a slap on the bum can lead to. I know from my childhood best friends case and he ended up thinking violence was the normal way to act. Thin end of the wedge and all that.

It appears you belong in the 'real world' I'm sure the majority of people away from cyberspace would agree with everything you say. Remember that if this site were a real room, and full of the plonkers on here, you'd want to leave the room ASAP. You certainly would not want to have a conversation with them.

My Father, thankfully, never laid a hand on me, my Mother slapped me once when I was 9, I walked in from school and said to her, “where’s my fecking shirt.” We laughed many years later about that incident.

And you are a different man because of that slap ?
