Manning returns and Ntcham faces a late fitness test for Millwall

Swansea City are the visitors to the new den tonight and have no real concerns regards their squad after Saturdays memorable win against Cardiff City. Olivier Ntcham who missed that game will be assessed later today and Ryan Manning becomes available after his four game ban.

Russell Martin was quick to point out this morning that now his side are getting results regards their style of play a level of consistency is needed as the season draws to an end. "I want us to go on and finish the season as strongly as possible so we can show what we can maybe achieve next season,” said the Swans boss. We know we don’t have much time before the next game, and we have a lot of games coming up in a short space of time”

That’s as maybe and it has been a stop, start season clouded by covid and postponements plus the swans boss has struggled at times to get his desired pattern of play across to everyone. The result against Cardiff making it a 7-0 season aggregate over the two games is also evidence of Martin’s progression. "I said a few weeks ago that we are heading in the right direction, the wheels are turning slowly and hopefully the result at the weekend can give them more momentum and a bit more pace. But we know what we want to do, how we want to do it, and the guys understand why we want to do it that way. They have bought into it and we need to keep developing and growing and see where it takes us.”

Swansea City and Millwall team news will appear here this afternoon and a focus report on the match which kicks off at 7.45pm at the new den.

Swansea City to a man : A total unprofessional embarrassment
Swansea City presented another pathetic performance to the travelling Jacks, some of whom had taken seven hours to get to the game today. The lack of effort was almost a V’ sign to head coach, Luke Williams and if that is the case we have some troubling times ahead of us.

Swansea City : Mental agility, toughness, commitment & desire needed this weekend
With the Hull City away game an early kick off this Saturday (12.30pm) MKM stadium the Swans have the usual slim selections to choose from. With Swans head coach, Luke Williams looking unlikely to dip into a form player from the U21 squad it’s very much as you were. By slim we pretty much mean what he had last week.
The absurdity of the EFL when it comes to Swans fixtures
Swansea City will travel on Friday to play Hull City in an early kick off the next day (12:30pm) at the MKM stadium. Hull are based within the East Riding of Yorkshire. The old medieval wool port with far better access since the building of the Humber bridge in 1981 has housed a football team since 1904.

Swans have no answers against Sunderland : Same issues for Luke
In another game of goals the Swans again snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, and yes that age old term is being used far too often this season. Even when it comes to losing a point. Today however, all three were lost and the best team won the day.
