BJB Day 43

The Sixth Person Is Evicted From The House

Home > Story Index >Day 43 In The Big Jack Brother House

04.07.03 - 8.03am - The housemates are woken by Big Jack Brother who asks them all to gather on the sofas. There is an announcement to be made.
04.07.03 - 8.22am - Big Jack Brother announces to the housemates that the vote lines have been closed for the week and for the very first time there is a tie in the voting for who should be evicted this week. Whilst this had never been forecast, the rules now state that in the event of a tie, the housemate who has collated the most votes since Big Jack Brother started will be evicted from the house.
04.07.03 - 9.14am - The housemates are in discussion on who they think the two people are who have tied on votes. Nick believes that with the support of a whole country behind him he should be safe and James thinks he is safe as there would be a three way tie if he was involved.
04.07.03 - 10.27am - It's the last breakfast for the housemates as a group. Peter Owen has cooked them a £3.99 Tescos Special breakfast telling them that the Swans World subscriptions pays for his daily trip across the road to Tescos to have his breakfast.
04.07.03 - 12.04pm - Big Jack Brother announces that as from Monday, and assuming that all three are still in the house, James Thomas, Jason Smith and Leon Britton will have to do some pre-season training. This will include three laps round the sofas, hurdle jumping (where Leon Britton is the hurdle for the other two) and also fifty press ups a day. Nick Rees lights another cigarette and laughs at the three of them.
04.07.03 - 8.32pm - All of the housemates are gathered on the sofas to hear the eviction result. Jason Smith is so worried that it is him who will be evicted he has put his best bandages on for the occasion.
04.07.03 - 8.47pm - The dreaded Friday night voice fills the house "Housemates you are live on JackArmy.net, please do not swear. All week the public have been voting for the sixth person to leave the house. As you are aware, the voting this week has been tied and for those two housemates the votes cast for them ever since you arrived in the house have been counted. I can now reveal that the sixth person to leave the Big Jack Brother house is..............."
04.07.03 - 8.49pm - "..................Nick Rees. Nick you have just over one hour to pack your stuff and say your goodbyes you are coming out" Nick sits in stunned silence for a few minutes before shouting out loud "some of you out there will regret this!"
04.07.03 - 9.17pm - Nick is busy packing his case. In go the shorts, T-Shirts and flip flops that he has been wearing for the past six weeks out come the furry Russian hats and long fur overcoats. He tells the group that there is bound to be a hoard of press outside the house waiting for his release and he feels that with a huge TV career ahead of him it is highly unlikely that he will ever need to work again.
04.07.03 - 10.06pm - Nick Rees is on his way out of the house. It has been 43 days but they have been fun days he tells the housemates as he leaves. So much fun he accidentally stands on Leon Britton as he walks out of the door. As it shuts behind him, the housemates wonder if the house is half empty or half full.
04.07.03 - 11.24pm - It's the end of another week in the BJB house and another housemate has departed. Next week one of the remaining six will follow the same fate - but which one? That is up to you to decide, you have spoken six times and now it is time to choose who you want to see leave the BJB house next - use the form below to cast your vote.

Burnley 1 Swansea City 0 : Timid and listless Swans beaten at the death
If anyone’s wants proof that shopping for players on low salaries in the Championship doesn’t pay off then it was evidenced today. Despite a very competent back four and keeper the rest of the team was sour and lacked any punch or awareness in controlling a football. Persistently caught offside or tripping over the ball, giving it away or relying on Myles Peart-Harris and a tired Ronald just wasn’t going to work.

Swansea City : A new investor to add to the picture ?
People will be asking about any new investors at the Swans from today onwards. There will be investment and one of those could well be self confessed ‘Swansea City nut’ and one of the most talked about and successful businessmen in the United States.
Swansea City get 20 million investment : Levien & Kaplan go !
The news of the departure of two men who have pretty much stalled the Swans progress since relegation from the Premier League has been met with delight by Swans fans. Andrew Coleman, who we reported a month ago as a part of discussions to overhaul the club has at last got his wish.

Swansea City : Can Peart-Harris maintain his form ?
At twenty two years of age Myles Peart-Harris is one player who came to the Swans on loan from Brentford with an indifferent history as a professional player. He had merely stroked the starting handle of the pro game, the antithesis of success. He was finding it too hard at times to succeed in such a demanding business.
Swansea City show some steel & guts to get the win
Swansea City moved into tenth place in the Championship last night with a very hard fought win over fifth place Watford in their Championship game at the Swansea.com. Myles Peart-Harris most certainly earned the plaudits in a tense second half. The Swans will remain in tenth spot even after the rest of the Championship fixtures are completed tonight.
