Despite pathetic remoaners signing the petition multiple times with different emails they still don’t get close to the 17,400,000 that signed the leave petition.

Total waste of time by the losers who still can not accept democracy 😂😂😂😂😂

Whereas the "Leave the EU without a deal in March 2019" is under 600,000

If you click on “show on map” this petition seems to be very heavily skewed towards London which is very dark red on the map. Select Neath or one of the Swansea constituencies and less than 4% of constituents have signed. Some constituencies in the north of England have less than 2% signed. David Lammy’s constituency is unsurprisingly one of the highest percentages but that’s only 22% of voters signed.

Tuvalu is still strongly anti brexit. As is Estiwana wherever the hell that is.

Of course with the proviso that these votes have no independently verified single 1:1 correlation with actual constituents making the vote

Such is the rancour on this by some, it would also be interesting to see the recent gmail etc. account sign up stats, plus the many multi account holders that already exist

That signature map is virtually identical to the referendum map. Dark in the south east/London and quite dark in Scotland. Light in the north of England, South Wales etc.

Those in the areas that voted leave in 2016 have barely bothered with this petition. It’s pretty much a microcosm of the 2016 referendum and the data here suggests there’s been no substantial change of mind or surge for remain.

I don’t have any data on how Tuvalu and Panama voted in the referendum though. But they have an aging population so they shouldn’t be allowed to vote anyway as it’s not their future.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
Poll: Should Dippy Drakeford do us all a massive favour and just bog off?

Is that your best analysis and insight... from here it looks like anxious hot air and more hopeful than factual

But, if its true what does leave have to fear in a confirmation peoples vote? They'd win hands down surely?

It’s there on the map. You can’t fail to see it unless you refuse to look. The north of England is very light in colour which means there’s a much smaller percentage of people signing it than there is in the south east. Same as South Wales.

It’s clear according to this raw data that those more passionate remain areas are rushing to sign this petition when people in leave areas are less likely to.

Which is not new news.

Errrr. Ok its not news we must all have been dreaming. Oh, Public opinion hasn't changed at all since 2016. Is that what you really think?

Oh, and Highjack analysis and insight is 2nd to none.

Stop looking only at what you want to look at and only seeing what you want to see.

Like many have suggested and asked, whats there to fear about a confirmatory peoples vote? Leave would win hands down according you guys, so whats to fear, please explain so we get even further benefit of your analysis and insight?

Am I right to presume that Tuvaluans are naturally born with an instinctive Eurosceptic mindset?

With what you've written there? I ponder if with (aging population bit) advancing years they (Tuvaluans) hit old age and become the total political opposite of what they were in their yoof? A cliche/phenomenon of rabid Thatcherites ending up Marxists in latter years. Or in this country the total opposite.

Age related metamorphosis that turns em into Lillie Allen types, but with a Zimmer Frame, like you said shouldn't be allowed to vote anyhow.

Argus!

Still avoiding answering the question but that could be because of burying your head.

Public opinion has changed only those fearful of that change are saying it hasn't. Hilarious!

What it is...is fear. The leave vote is like Cardiff/Burton Albion/Darlington (take your pick - and NO disrespect to any of those teams) knocking Man City out of the FA Cup. Wouldn't happen a day, week, month or year later let alone 3 years later. Yet, with the change in public opinion its clear now that the country doesn't really want to exit the EU.

Who knows what will happen but its looking a lot more possible now we'll get the 2nd ref / peoples vote. When/If that happens the leavers will go into meltdown as the country overwhelmingly decides to reject Mays Deal, No Deal and to stay in the EU.

Boris Johnson’s Telegraph column tomorrow espouses leaving with no deal and extending the implementation period until the end of 2021. It doesn’t look like anyone’s told him that there’s no implementation period if there’s no withdrawal agreement. And this man was Foreign Secretary.

It’s been answered many times. Having another vote means another 12 months of uncertainty. If we have a vote fine, no deal or remain. You lot don’t get to pick both terms of the vote. Leave haven’t been campaigning for 2 years like remain have. Leave will win comfortably again. Keep showing the nation videos of that muppet Verhofstadt’s recent tantrums will be enough to get more people on side.

At least you have the courtesy to provide an answer. Unfortunately its not the right answer, just an opinion and when you think about it complete rubbish!

Let's look at this..

12 Months of uncertainty. hahahahah. Ok, as if thats not what we have had since 2016! And, in all likelihood will continue for another 5 to 10 years. I don't think it will take 12 months to get it together anyway.

"You lot" - What does that mean? Are you suggesting something here?

Terms of Vote - If remain (not taking no deal or mays deal) was a option it really wouldn't matter; Remain would take it hands down. Think Darlo' v Man City.

Videos - The same could be said for many of the Brexiteers in the Tory party.

What question?

And it’s less and less likely we’ll get a losers vote because of time constraints and there doesn’t seem to be a majority for it in the house.

So perhaps part of the problem is you cannot read particularly well, nor can you filter and assimilate the information you receive. Perhaps your not receiving it. A quick clue, a questions is usually ended with a question mark. I suggest yo take a cursory look at what was actually posted rather than listening to the voices in your head. Just say no kids!

If thats what you think re less likely confirmatory peoples vote then knock yourself out! But we both know its more of what you want than anything else.

Tip: If theres not majority in parliament for anything; its likely goes to the people to get past the impasse and get the house a mandate to move on. Now, you may wish to disagree or even filter this out, your call. But one thing is for sure, a 2nf ref peoples vote is far more likely than it was 3 years ago, 2 years ago, 1 year ago, or even 6 months ago and id even say 2 weeks ago!

They won’t call a second referendum if there’s even an outside chance of leave winning again. That would be disastrous for them. They’re more likely just to revoke article 50 and stay in that way.

You can continue to sneer, it’s in the remainers DNA but it’s just our respective opinions. You may be right. I may be right. We may both be wrong. God knows what’ll happen.

I’ve been saying since the start that the only two paths are fully remain or a so called “hard brexit” fully leave. The second path has been taken off the table. We will never be allowed to leave without a deal. We will never accept Mays “deal”. The deal can’t or won’t be changed so logic dictates remain is a complete inevitability. But I honestly don’t think they’ll risk doing it via referendum.

You know what, you may have a point about the reason for not calling a 2nd Ref. My theory is, they won't call IT a 2nd ref. It will be called something else. MPs are nothing if not resourceful.

Look, i am not sneering at all. We got into a discussion where we disagreed which is fine, but when writing it into a forum asking things like 'what question' when its there in the text is a little annoying. If i came across as sneering it was not my intention at all. Having said that, a little banter is good for the soul IMO.

Your theory on the two options as you see it is also interesting. When the vote took place i honestly though that if leave win it would be out, fully out and no deal. In fact, i do remember some of the campaigning and yes there was stuff about not leaving without a deal. But, the brexiteers are and have always been as split as the tories on what Brexit actually is.

A 2nd Ref is a get out for the MPs. It allows them, or some of them to save face.

Thank you for that, i feel much better now knowing that to only ever vote once and certainly not change my mind not express an opinion.

By the way, a petition is part of the democratic process. It's what and how people can let authority know what its thinking and current public opinion.

Did the dark little voting booth count in 2017? Hilarious.

Thanks for replying with your opinion on the matter which is also complete rubbish.

Yes we’ve had uncertainty since 2016. That was always gonna happen until we’ve left. Your lot are happy to just start it all over again. And no it won’t be a binding vote, when leave win again the dirty tricks will start all over again.

By your lot I mean all you whinging remainers that have gone on and on for 3 years. I honestly fear go ruin all once we’ve left.

That’s the attitude that resulted in the shock of the first vote. Nothings changed with voter attitude, if anything your lot have made people more determined to leave.

The difference with videos of the Tory party is that they’ll all be gone soon, that Vergofstadt and his loony mates are there to stay and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.
