Plymouth 17:00 - Feb 9 with 4707 views | GaryBannister86 | Well done chaps, thoroughly deserved. Up yours Liverpool for disrespecting the cup. Nice to see nothing changes, 9 minutes of injury time invented from nowhere to give them every chance. Looks awfully dull this winning in the cup business, doesn't it? | ![](/images/avatars/30181.gif) | | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |
Plymouth on 17:03 - Feb 9 with 2275 views | Wegerles_Stairs | It pissed me off earlier when they were saying on 5 Live how disappointed Plymouth fans would be not seeing Salah and co. today. Patronising pricks. | ![](/images/avatars/0.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |
Plymouth on 17:04 - Feb 9 with 2270 views | stowmarketrange | They were so gracious in our victory there last month, and a few we met were pretty down about their prospects this season. But they deserve this win and the football world should be pleased for them too.Well done Plymouth. | ![](/images/avatars/4993.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |
Plymouth on 17:05 - Feb 9 with 2246 views | LimehouseR | Absolutely fantastic. Like you say, typical Premier League club thinking they can rest their first team and disrespect their opposition. I hope they feel thoroughly embarrassed. Plymouth deserved it. I do feel like we miss a trick every year, resting players, prioritise finishing 16th. The Plymouth fans will remember that for the rest of their lives. They may well stay up now on the back of that result. | ![](/images/avatars/1378.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

Well said. I already had to look up who we beat in the two games after Leicester. If we had got to Old Trafford and won that.....pie in the sky maybe but it will always will be UNLESS WE ACTUALLY TRY OUR HARDEST! [Post edited 9 Feb 17:09]

But would Plymouth rather stay up than win a fa cup game ? That's the problem. | ![](/images/avatars/7025.gif) |

Let’s at least wait until the first week of January 2026 , for the love of god . Well done to Plymouth and Liverpool showed either a huge disrespect or didn’t care . Curtis Jones on the bench not used ??? Not sure he really gave it full beans or respect . Cheerio then Arnie. | ![](/images/avatars/19896.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

A problem for who? Give them a vote now, I bet they would take beating Liverpool over staying up? What if they win the 5th round too? They've got a lifetime memory. That's what it is all about. Who the heck remembers league games in the championship a couple of years later? And, as we always say, why can't you do both? Why can't you put your full side out in the cup and then play the same full side in the league game the following week? It's just trendy sports science drivel and gives managers the excuse to throw the cup. Or Jimmy Dunne the case in point. We rested a bloke we tried to flog 2 weeks later. And yes, I am still bitter. | ![](/images/avatars/30181.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

Why's it boring to debate what quite a few of us think is a really important flaw in the club's thinking? I think it should be raised at every opportunity. Also, the anti-cuppers had their moment when we won the next two games. Now those of us who like the cup get our moment to remind people that getting past the 3rd round can actually lead to lifetime-excitement moments. | ![](/images/avatars/30181.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

I'm not talking about the fans , I'm talking about the owners of the club , they would definitely want to stay in the championship rather than win one fa cup game. As I said I saw Rangers beat Liverpool 3-2 in the prem. | ![](/images/avatars/7025.gif) |

So did I mate, and for me it pales into insignificance compared to when we drew 2-2 with them in the FA Cup quarter final or beating them in the 86 Milk Cup That Was Sadly Abandoned Get your point about the owners - although the chairman looked pretty happy :-) | ![](/images/avatars/30181.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

Plymouth on 17:33 - Feb 9 with 1756 views | CiderwithRsie | Quote from the Guardian report online: "And all the while, the hills were alive with the sound of Muslic. The new Plymouth coach may only have been in the job for a month, but already he has infused the club with the vigour so lacking under his predecessor Wayne Rooney. There is a kind of alpha magnetism to the bearded Austrian, a coach who talks a lot about “courage” and “balls”, who looks like the sort of guy who will try and sell you a 12-part online course on how to unlock your inner wolf." Another good thing about this, is that it's another case of a good, unheralded coach (like Marti here, and Danny Rohl at Sheff Weds) outperforming so-called big name media darlings like Rooney or Lampard. | ![](/images/avatars/0.gif) | | ![](/images/icons/ignore-user.png) |

A great night but we beat them with one of the most dislikeable teams in our history I prefer to remember the 2-1 win in 94 and the away win at Anfield in 91 with proper Rangers teams . And yeah I'm still pissed off about Leicester [Post edited 9 Feb 17:53]
