Who's excited about the NFL season starting tomorrow night?

Ravens at Denver, tought being champions and having to open up on the road (thanks to the Orioles) Ravens being written off already but we now have a stronger, faster D, our play off pedigree is better than most in the last 10 years. Cant see us lifting the vince lombardi again, i think cincinatti could be a good outside bet?

San Fran from the NFC for me, the addition of Boldin at wide receiever and then id take Denver from the AFC, manning has still got it and the addition of Wes Welker is shrewd.

What are your predictions??

Very excited.

Think we (Ravens) will struggle to get into the playoffs but a solid year and aim for more success next year would do me.

I think Denver and the Niners could be good and I reckon Seattle as a dark horse.

Btw there is a fantasy game here if anyone is interested;

Didnt take long for the haters to get involved. they just cant resist can they?

Anyway:

This is one of the most open seasons for a while. Yes the usual suspects are there or there abouts, but there has been some guard chaning. The NFC West is a beast of a division with the 49ers and Seahawks. Picking the winner of the NFC east is pick a colour from 4. About the only division I will confidently repdict is the AFC East where the Pats will walk it again.

Its a shame the NFL continues to take the fun out of the game - more clamp down on celebrations and certain hits, but after settling the concussion law suit I supose you cant blame them for the second one.

my thoughts on the season:
Will Peyton Manning last? If he does Denver have a chance, but that neck is horrible and has been causing problems again
Who is the bigger joke? the Jets or the Raiders?
Can the Texans actually win a play off game?
Can the Cowboys make the playoffs and not choke in December?
now that Sam Bradford actually has someone to throw to, will be become a decent QB?

all will be revealed...

Why stop now, just when I'm hating it

very very excited - flying to Houston for the weekend (one of the few NFL stadiums i ahvent bee to) for Sunday night game on 3 November against Colts.

My tip is Seattle but (and this is the beauty of the NFL for all of those people who dismiss it out of hand) a usual half of the 32 teams will have some shout of winning

Denver are the obvious shout for AFC. NFC a handful of teams all in with a shout, Seattle for me though.

Just hope it isn't Patriots.

Everybody be cool, you be cool...

Massively excited - i'm a Vikings fan and can't wait to see them live for the first time at Wembley!

Make or break (more likely) season for Christian Ponder, Peterson gunning for Dickerson's running yards record, lots of new rookies in the team too.

I think we'll go 9 - 7 and just miss playoffs due to a pretty raw team and questions at QB.

Can't look past the Niners for the Superbowl for me.

As a Giants fan I can't tip any other team but the Giants. Going to both Wembley games where I'll be routing for the NFC teams..

Yep, still tearing it up along with Art Monk's afro.

I'm a Seahawks fan of 30 years, Wilson V kaepernick, what a season ahead.

Wouldn't go so far as to be excited about it and the games are hours in length with the stoppages and adverts etc, watching it live is a form of torture.

That said, i've always liked American football (i was quarterback for our school team); watching the commercial/stoppage removed edited highlights shows is great.

The problem was, i cheered for the Houston Oilers (Jerry Glanville was the Daddy), and then they simply ceased to exist, so i know longer gave a sh!t. Yes, i know there is a new team in Houston now, but it's simply not the same.
