The election results thread 19:10 - Jun 8 with 57886 views | exiledclaseboy | Polls close 10pm. BBC, ITV and SKY release the results of their joint exit poll also at 10pm. Some of you may remember election night two years ago when the exit poll predicted a Tory win. It was roundly ridiculed by politicians of all parties and most us on here. You could see Professor John Curtice (who oversees the poll) visibly wilting and wondering if he'd just wrecked his career and reputation. The same Prof Curtice got progressively more smug as the night rolled on and it turned out his poll was more or less spot on. First result due about 11pm. From Sunderland. The outcome may be a foregone conclusion but it should be exciting for about an hour or so. Get it stickied for 24 hours or so please, mods. Oh, and can someone keep Perch and Bluey away from sharp objects please. Just in case.

The election results thread on 04:33 - Jun 9 by skippyjack | So let me get this 100% clear.. People are voting for a Marxist in a Country with a Queen Regnant. F*ckin Hell.. it's a definite re-poll, and overtime for the psychiatric ward. Just delaying the inevitable exit from Europe, and making the NHS even worse. God.. we're a thick nation. |

The election results thread on 05:15 - Jun 9 with 1723 views | TheResurrection | Theresa May now calling for a "period of stability" - and this after her asking for the exact same thing late last year when promising the UK there'd be no election. I can't stop laughing at this utter clown. Tories in chaos.

In a new world of vast technology.. how can a dangerous man regain so much power.. He will brainwash and institutionalize the public workforce like locusts and share the profit they will generate amongst his Islington hierarchical headquarters and faithful comrades in positions of power.. Taxes will rise due to expenditure.. and living standards will be reduce.. for funding these idiots who care more about refugees in Mozambique..

The election results thread on 04:47 - Jun 9 by Kilkennyjack | No. Its simply a disaster for Terrible Theresa. Thats the only story in town. The people have spoken - and not backed her for her batshit Brexit plans. She called this election for a mandate for Brexit, she must now resign. Simples. |
The other story is the kicking the SNP took and the Welsh public's continued and almost total indifference to Plaid. Looks like there's still some life in the old Union yet eh?
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

DUP are Conservative.. apart from Democratic indifference, and are solely concerned with N.Ireland.. They are practically Tories.. 50%.. I'm not even politically active.. I just like to point out the inaccurate information and clear lunatics within the cleft of the Labour party.. The Tories are Tories and they will never change.. But the Tories do f*ck all within the Welsh Assembly anyway.. apart from give the WAG a cut of the public pie.. which they will automatically complain about..
