I'm sorry but using language like that to a female is unacceptable.

What about hoping a female gets full blown AIDS and taking the piss out of her when she says how upsetting it was at not being able to bear children. Fuçk. Ing. Hell.

I'd suggest we're getting into slightly questionable territory bringing gender into this in terms of levels of acceptance of such words. Saying that, calling for people to be banned is always poor form IMO.

Perhaps trying to "stick up" for a someone who openly supported a convicted child molester left himself open to being called a moron 👠

Especially when you’ve said the things about a woman that Ebo has said on here in the past too.

I know most children are as, if not more, foul mouthed than some adults but it doesn't add much to your argument if you resort to using really foul language. I know just what to expect from Darran .

I don’t think I need particular protection as a female. Any woman who speaks her mind is used to being described in the way he did. It’s a occupational hazard! I find his description of the horrific events Prince Andrew has admitted to being involved in as ‘mudslinging’ to be far more offensive than calling me any particular name to be honest. I’m able to stand up for myself. The young girls involved in this sordid tale didn’t have the same good fortune.

The Andrew Interview. on 12:55 - Nov 18 by londonlisa2001 | That’s a fair point. I would say, however, that it’s quite hard to post controlled responses when quite venal views are constantly repeated. Maybe we should try harder, but I’m not sure it’s right to say that less leeway is being given to different points of view. I believe it may be more accurate to say that points of view which are becoming more and more extreme are becoming the norm. The natural reaction is to become less good humoured about our reactions to them. Particularly when such extreme views are so often at the expense of the same groups and being expressed by the same people. |
“I would say, however, that it’s quite hard to post controlled responses when quite venal views are constantly repeated.” If only life was so easy. Fully agree it’s difficult, as the longer threads go on the more extreme views tend to become and then more personal. By the time we get to the end of a thread the original meaning can be lost. Extreme views from whatever end of the spectrum need challenging, but I do honestly believe that when it gets down the personal insult route (whatever language is used) it’s best to walk away as nothing will change views that are by then cast in stone. My view, but other views are available

The Andrew Interview. on 14:56 - Nov 18 by londonlisa2001 | You misspelled ‘horrific apologist for admitted serial paedophile’ as ‘daft bat’ there Leon! She demonstrates everything that is wrong with the world. Powerful people regarding powerless people as less than themselves and collateral damage. Sickening. |
To be honest I was lost for words. She seems like a truly dispicable human being with those sorts of views. Luckily I don't come across many people like that, but I feel sorry for anyone who does.
