tomorrow can't come quick enough 14:17 - Oct 16 with 2276743 viewsbatman

Not for us, but for Bury.
i was credit checking a potential customer and decided to nosey onto
BFC's file and was (or maybe not) supprised to see a new CCJ for circa £22k lodged
only Wednesday this week.
looks like they are in need of a bumper crowd tomorrow to settle some bills

Exactly this.

Evidently there is a lack of mirrors at Giggle for them to have a look at themselves.

They genuinely seem to believe the EFL have some vendetta against them and they are being picked on.

FFS the shortest memories ever the supporters. Oh how they loved Stew pot and all his crackpot ideas when he was splashing other peoples cash left right and centre.

EFL please read the first 10 - 15 pages of this quite brilliant thread that all bury fans cant bear to accept.

Milky bars - Messy faces - Yum Yum - remember that?.

"Evidently there is a lack of mirrors at Giggle for them to have a look at themselves."

There are plenty of mirrors. Just that they have lost them in the smoke.

That's funny!! when the dust settles I hope there is some closure and realisation from the gigglers that the club brought this very much on themselves.

Cheating the system for years and it has all caught up with them when other peoples money and all loan avenues ran dry.

Hope the Phoenix is formed as they will have some footy to watch and some ale to sup but the way they all stick there heads in the sand it looks a long long way off.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe bURY were in deep financial trouble when SD1 first appeared on the scene, and that they were desperate for a new owner to inject much needed cash, although this has been happening for many years as has been stated numerous times above.

The whole delusional blaming of the EFL is typical of them, the majority are either too thick, too bitter, too steadfast in the “bURY are a massive and historic club” or too one eyed to see what is staring them in the face, it’s the fault of SD1 predominantly, the senior staff who allowed it, FB for watching with blank faced as Rome burned around their ears and the fans who lapped up every new milky bar wrapped bullshit statement with aplomb.

You will notice I have not mentioned the EFL.

On his appointment SD1 looked a very credible chairman, a successful entrepreneur with numerous large building companies and a decent track record, liquidity and obviously enough cash to run a small football club, and to cover any loss made from his business empire, obviously it quickly led to broken promises and ccj’s which has been done to death here, but at his appointment he certainly appeared fit and proper enough to pass EFL tests, and if he was not allowed to take over then the outcry from Gigg would have been ridiculous.

I also don’t mention SD2, as by the time he got his nasty profiteering mitts on what was left, it really was already over anyway, the powers that be allowed them one extra ride, even though everyone knew that it should be closed down, and people should have been making their way to the exits long before the undeserving promotion.

If the EFL are forced to monitor all league clubs, it could well involve quarterly interim accounts (bURY struggled with annual accounts) regular meetings, wage caps (properly regulated and vetted) and god knows what else, at considerable cost and time, just because a few clubs aim for the stars and end up on their arses.

Everyone involved at bURY, from the chairman to the fans, the ceo to the players, have played their part in their demise.

I hope, as has been proven in the past, we fans continue to question and raise doubts when there is doubts to be raised. Had bURY fans spent less time slagging off this thread (bitter faileys) and actually thought about the numerous warnings, maybe they would still have a club!

The Jack Ryan thread is Comedy Gold.

Well worth a read just to see how bloody lucky we are.

Would like to see the Phoenix start up just to give the few loyal level headed shakers some footy to watch.

I think the schooligans will already have found alternative entertainment by now on a Saturday afternoon.

Speculation is that Bolton will be punished for this season refusal to play but not last season.

Apparently next week is quite a big week for the Bury supporters....

December the 4th another court appearence.

Also the Bury supporters have a week to choose which name the phoenix club will hold..
Then they have to put in the league application...

So its all go for the ex gigglers.....

Slowly but surely it’s sinking in that enjoy the ride was perhaps not the best idea.

Hope they manage a Phoenix that’s starting at the bottom.

Hope they eventually find a level in a few years just below conference north that would be about right for the size of club they eventually could become.

They have stopped selling milky bars on bury market.

Steve Dale is a bad un I am not sure they will ever see football at Giggle ever again.

Lessons learned I hope that the Phoenix needs to spend a pound less than the income it generates!

Unless there has been a seismic shift in circumstances, I can't see any outcome other than liquidation and a permanent end to the whole situation.

All those connected with BFC should be putting their combined efforts and finances into the establishment of their 'phoenix' club.

The whole thing seems to have dropped out of the headlines and the public conscience.

The next fight will be the 'Battle for Gigg'. Will the phoenix ever raise enough money ? Will SD2 apply for removal of the covenant and submit planning permission applications ?

The end game is in sight........

Indeed lessons to be learned.. a Supporters Trust in the name of Forever Bury that was too close to those running the Club, more interested in currying favour with those in the Boardroom and forging friendships than representing their members.

Life long fans who valued their friendship with Stuart Day over what was actually happening at their Football Club and the damage he was doing. Fans who took it upon themselves to shout down others who voiced their concerns. All contributed to the demise of bury FC and the fans sat back and allowed it to happen, many compromised and lacking the moral courage to speak up.

Anyway, they can all cry over spilt milk now and live with the guilt, their contribution to the demise of their own Club will stay with them forever. In the mean time we have taken the moral high ground and advised them accordingly...we wouldn’t allow any of that to happen at our Club would we? 😐

There's arse-lickers in every sphere, and they know who they are. Fortunately, at least on this side of Heywood, those with concerns simply won't be shouted down

If you thought Bury fans could get any classier, there's currently a couple of them having a pop at the EFL's charity partner Mind on twitter for not doing more for the players, staff and fans while everything has been going on.

Having a go at a mental health charity, now that is pure class!

Nah, there wouldn’t be that many turn up to stop the bulldozers at Giggle Lane. There wasn’t a big turnout for when they got booted out of the league.

Rumour as it that a quite of few of the giggle laners are going to the Tranmere for the FA Cup match with the intentions of invading the pitch and try and dusrupt the match..

No end to that lot they bring unwanted attention to the club when its positivity they require in the media.....
