Looks like it has worked to our benefit...but what a total b@lls up it is. No idea what is being reviewed, players learn to play with how the ref id "playing the game", but then some random has a different view.

The Pulling Power of a Dale shirt
at 23:29 16 Aug 2017

A comment by Pioneer in the "Bar" thread made me think of this. We all wear our shirts out and about, which are recognised,(often by fellow Daley's) and conversations start.
So who has had this occur, for example, on holiday for the home based fans, and where? In which unexpected situation did you meet a Daley?
My own experience was on travelling to Napier in the North Island to attend a Simply Red concert. Parked the hire car outside a house, and set off to Winery where the concert was, when a voice said "I recognise that shirt" He lived in Napier, was a Dale Exile, previously a Milkman based on Broad Lane. He invited us back for a brew. Turned out I had parked very close to his house. He got on the phone, along came another Daley, and whilst there, Yet another Daley turned up who was on Holiday. Not everyone's favourite, I am sure, but a writer and performer of some absolute classics.
2016 has been the year of the underdog, and the year we lost many talented performers.

Co-Operation and the Green Party Manifesto, and how they would affect Rochdale
at 01:51 22 Jan 2015

http://blogs.spectator.co.uk/coffeehouse/2015/01/welcome-to-the-bonkers-world-of

"The England football, rugby and cricket teams would no longer play against countries where “normal, friendly, respectful or diplomatic relations are not possible.” Football clubs would be owned by co-operatives and not traded on the stock markets."

The above caught my eye, and with Rochdale being the birthplace of Co-Operation, we should be the first pro club to go Co-Op (Yeah right!)

Finished third with a Penalty shoot out win in the play off.
Third best Team in the World? No way, but proves anything can happen in Cup games.
Credit to them, a team of Part timers, for organising a campaign, game plans etc.

She could be from almost any town, but it seems to me that the National Press link stories like this to Rochdale, on a regular basis.

There will be tipping point eventually. Those taking will outnumber those giving. People like this will then find out what stress is.

What is the point of having cameras, hot spot, and snicko if the third umpire is stupid?

Wonder if the postponement will give them time to erect temprary stands, and therefore offer all the ticket holders a chance to use their original purchase?

Tour de France.(non football thread)
at 00:54 14 Jul 2012

Plenty of cyclists in Rochdale, any on here?
OK, I know wearing Lycra can look stupid, and clicky heels are a bit gay, but GB is on the verge of winning the most famous cycle race in the world. Team Sky were set up to do this, and a win this year is ahead of their schedule.
It shows that investment, planning and training can pay off.
I hope Wiggins, Froome and the rest of their team stay healthy for the next 2 weeks, to make their plan come to fruition.
