Price rise does nothing to hit Pompey season ticket sales

It's no surprise - but it's still encouraging to hear that more than 10,000 Pompey fans have renewed their season ticket for 2024-25.

A price rise of around 10 per cent - which was not unexpected - has done nothing to dampen enthusiasm for the Championship season ahead.

Pompey said: "With season ticket sales capped at 15,000 and more than 2,000 people on the waiting list, fans are reminded that they have until 5pm on Wednesday, June 12 to renew their seat.

"Supporters who do not renew their season ticket prior to that date will lose their seat and will have to join the waiting list for an opportunity to become a season ticket holder in the future.

"Any unrenewed, and therefore released, seats will then go on sale to supporters on the waiting list from 10am on Tuesday, June 25. Those on the waiting list will get priority in batches aligned to their position on the waiting list, as per the key dates information shared previously."

Pompey pointed out that fans who applied for finance via V12 Finance and were declined still needed to purchase their season ticket before 5pm on Wednesday, June 12.
