Nourry 22:03 - Dec 7 with 7193 views | EN_Ranger | I understand why Nourry gets a lot of stick and why most want him out but on the flip side he stuck with the manager when we were on a awful run, his signings are mostly looking much better now they have adjusted to the Championship and he has listened to the fans and started comms about how long injured players are out for. I don’t like how he’s learning on the job at our club, but maybe he’s not as terrible as some would have you believe? (Just playing devils advocate!)
Nourry on 22:09 - Dec 7 with 3574 views | Ned_Kennedys | Most people do not want him out. He’s not got the experience most would deem necessary and has made mistakes but not enough to warrant the abuse a few think he deserves.
Nourry on 22:18 - Dec 7 with 3486 views | bosh67 | Strange how a bit of a good run can turn things around. I still feel he needs to bring in someone with a lot of player experience for recruiting, other than Belk. Varane is improving, Madsen seems to be finally getting up to speed, Saito, Morrison and Nardi by far the best of the new crop. Celar (until the injury) looking like a player getting to grips with things, Bennie I think is a prospect. Ashby getting up to speed. Dembele, we won't be able to judge him until next season. 2 wins, 2 draws, 1 goal conceded, climbing the table slowly. Suddenly Nourry isn't looking so daft after all? [Post edited 7 Dec 22:19]

Nourry on 22:29 - Dec 7 with 3415 views | Wilkinswatercarrier | One fit striker, who's 19, and he has (allegedly) fallen out with. One left back, who he tried to flog, and the other loaned out. No back up central midfielder. 2 new right backs, neither of which can get ahead of the centre back playing out of position 🤔. Many are happy to give the signings time to adjust, but the fact is Nourry left us short. Not forgetting, not forgiven. Nourry out.

Do you want to blame him for Storm Darragh as well while you’re at it? Some people will always find stuff to moan about.
Nourry on 22:50 - Dec 7 with 3222 views | Logman | I think it's true. Our most expensive signings have not yet brought a lot of added value and Marti has had a bum hand to play with. I think the last few results have been in spite of and not because of Nourry. Needs to be left to play with his computer games while others get on with the football business.

The balance of the squad would seem to be Nourry's responsibility? Great to win today, but we're 20th with nearly half the season gone and the three teams immediately below us all having games in hand. He's not going to be winning any awards, is he?

Not strange at all. There is only one thing that REALLY matters at any club and that is how well the first team do. So when things are going badly under a popular manager, the scapegoat has to be someone higher up the chain. If the first team start winning regularly and Varane, Madsen, Saito and Nardi turn into world beaters, then everyone will be relieved again and will look to store their pitchforks. The squad is threadbare and a couple of injuries away from being in trouble. We don't know whose fault that is. However, if this uptick continues, the disquiet will fade and we might actually have some fun supporting this lot once again... Fickle? We ALL are. Take a look at the Norwich and Cardiff match threads for their games against us on their message boards. Switch names around and their pessimism is the same as us. Norwich were "free scoring" before today and now apparently they're "no more than low midtable championship slop". Knee Jerkers, aren't we? After a couple more defeats, we'll reserect the Nourry Out thread once more...

Jesus I thought you said Stormy Daniels there for a second Ned that would ruin Clives great mood haha. Just kidding but look at the change on LFW in 2 weeks its day and night really and we are playing with at least 5 regular starters out and we still picked up ground just amazing really

The improvement is down to the Head Coach, not the CEO.

Of course the improvement is down to Cifuentes and the players but I’ve always stated that results on the pitch dictate the narrative. The minor clamour for a scapegoat to blame for our very poor start to the season never had any traction anyway.

And the result on the pitch is that the kid who Nourry tried to fck off to Saudi Arabia dug us out of a huge hole yesterday with 2 goals…..

Even if his recruitment turns out to be OK, he is still taking us for fools . The rubbish saying there is no money for transfers then producing Anderson and Frey . Not letting Marti speak to Clive pre season or attend the fans forum then trying to kid us that Marti JCS and Dembele had all signed new contracts just in time for the forum . Cobblers about how long he has been in football and rumours of Martis replacement surfacing on a website he is involved with . Not divulging length of contracts to gain an "advantage" No recruitment is perfect but a bit of openess about how we started the season , light on strikers and the Paal / Larkesch balls up would be welcome. Lastly allowing Ben Williams to be retained but not present when we are going through an injury crisis that had us in the bottom three needs to ge explained . It feels dismissive and patronising IMO

It clearly the Ben Williams situation that's pissing Marti off most. He had another right dig (quite rightly) in his post match interview. Williams virtually lived at the training ground last season when we had the best injury record in the league. Now he's in Dubai (WTAF?!?) and we have one of the worst if not THE worst. Who let that happen?

Is the "Ben Williams Remote Working" effect on injuries, the real reason for so many injuries or is it just coincidence ?? I don't agree with Performance manager being remote either, but am dubious myself as to the impact of this role. Am uneducated as to the whys and wherefores of the position, and our record is chalk and cheese with regards to injury impacts each season, but is it just dreadful luck or is this Performance director that impactful. We do though have a head of methodology, so that's alright then !!! 🤣🤣🤣 [Post edited 8 Dec 8:59]

We're getting a lot of catastrophic muscle injuries, calves and hamstrings. We didn't last season, because the fitness and performance manager managed the players very well - what with being at the training ground. Worth noting the club's innovative head of medical and performance Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed left in Feb too. You can't do anything about impact injuries. You absolutely can about hamstring, calf and back injuries: the three injuries we didn't suffer much from last season but are being plagued with this season. What's changed? Draw your own conclusions. Marti clearly has.

In his own words recruitment is a joint decision between bell, Marti and Nourry. Fine. But he also said if it's undecided he takes a closer look at the player and makes the decision, not sure what qualifies him for that. Also fairly obvious that if he can hire and fire the manager he can hire or fire the head of performance who's half way around the world. Two more suspected muscle injuries yesterday, but we're to believe him being remote is not effecting his ability to do the job.
Nourry on 09:57 - Dec 8 with 1814 views | LongRanger | Putting questionable communication, signings and organisational structure to one side, his career history, or lack of it is very well documented. He is the figurehead for how this club is run. Anyone who thinks 2 draws and 2 wins make this all ok, must be balls deep in Christmas spirit. Not sure why we need another thread on this, the guy is a charlatan and I want him out, regardless of results.
Nourry on 10:00 - Dec 8 with 1798 views | baz_qpr | Fitness, strength and muscle injuries have all been very questionable this season and if you believe in marginal gains you also have to believe in marginal losses. Accountability gaps can be like a cancer in an organisation and unless the guy is coming back full time then they need to move on
