Nourry 22:03 - Dec 7 with 7198 viewsEN_Ranger

I understand why Nourry gets a lot of stick and why most want him out but on the flip side he stuck with the manager when we were on a awful run, his signings are mostly looking much better now they have adjusted to the Championship and he has listened to the fans and started comms about how long injured players are out for.

I don’t like how he’s learning on the job at our club, but maybe he’s not as terrible as some would have you believe?

(Just playing devils advocate!)

So that’s why you keep posting the same thing over and over again: no evidence at all, just you’ve read a social media post by Kolli’s dad. So you know nothing more than anyone else then.

You also genuinely think the owners gave Nourry the job because he said he had 11 years experience? I’d hope they did a bit more due diligence than that.

Spin goes both ways doesn’t it?

No, I post it as I’m in the position to know it is a fact. Kolli’s dad talking about it publicly *should* be a pretty clear confirmation for you of the provenance of the fact, but obviously I respect that you have entrenched yourself in a contrarian position and Nourry publicly admitting it would fall on deaf ears for you.

Nourry obviously didn’t get the job because he claims to have 11 years of experience. Hoos is not a total idiot, he knew full well that wasn’t true and Nourry was only a 26 year old recruitment consultant. Hoos however was desperate to step back, Nourry bullshits well and the clubs owners are absolutely not in a position to be doing any due diligence on people recommended to them for their vanity project.

You can say what you like but until I hear it from the horses mouth then I am sticking to my way of thinking, rightly or wrongly whatever the 'in the know boys', Haddock & Lassel, say or even what the papers say!!!! Sorry if its against the grain.

I'm finished with this thread but thanks very much for the insight(s).

On what exactly? Though perhaps you should!

Poll: What should the club do now (assuming no imminent change of owners)?

All very worrying, if so. However, it does at least highlight the real issue, which is who gave Nourry the job (and why).

Haven’t the same people died on the same hill over the same stuff on an identical thread ?
Jeez

Some people think Nourry is too blame for everything and anything . Some people have taken it upon themselves to challenge almost any criticism of him. Some people know more than they can say on a public forum and some people indulge in the politics of envy snd can’t bear the thought of others knowing more than they do about certain aspects of the club.

It’s all in the middle somewhere but bloody Norah…can’t we just enjoy something ?

I think it’s a bit arbitrary to say it’s somewhere in the middle / you’re all the same just because the rhetoric has become uncomfortable and the usual faces are talking to people like dog chocolate they are scraping off their shoe.

For what it’s worth I don’t think he is to blame for everything. Our problems are decades old. I also don’t think his age is necessary a problem (except when he lies about his time in the game), and I also believe analytics are a valuable tool.

But I won’t be told that he’s not full of shit and treating the fans like idiots when there are videos, articles, and emails staring me in the face.

You can store your pitchfork, I'm keeping mine handy.

As QPR fans, you really can't afford to keep that pitchfork too far from hand.

Poll: How old is everyone on here?

And I agree with you for what it’s worth .
You only have to look back at my posts in the matter. Strange you’d take umbrage as I expected the other side of the debate to get more upset .
Just thought it might be nice to enjoy the win , as rare as it is, rather than start another thread about bloody Nourry, good or for bad .

But maybe winning games isn’t the most important thing to some people .

No umbrage taken! Not with what you said anyway.
