Build up and match thread AFC Wimbledon on 11:29 - Oct 7 by ParkinsGimp | Think this game has proven , we have no use for Calvin Andrew, we must rid ourselves of this useless article as soon as possible, spend a wage on a decent player. We are crying out for a goal scoring centre forward. Hendo cant keep being relied on. BBM hands seem tied, lets hope we have something in Jan and we are in a decent position to still push on. |
You can’t say that | | | |

Build up and match thread AFC Wimbledon on 21:33 - Oct 3 by Nigeriamark | next4 games are huge, playing the bottom two and the teams 15th and 17th. 8 points + and i will continue to feel comfortable this season. Not win any of them or get less than 6 points and we will need a rethink on the way BBM is setting us up, and what to do in the Jan window I’m quite confident we will do well this month ( that’s torn it!!) |
Finally a reasonable prediction from myself rather than the Jinx. Was worried after the Wimbledon game that we wouldn’t get 8 points but we ended up with 9. Also, without wanting to give it the kiss of death , our next home game is Bristol who have also gone into a slump. Win that and it could end up being one of our best starts to a season in recent times ( I am assuming a loss at Oxford) Still feel we have a team that are going to do well against the bottom sides but will struggle against the top half who will not give us the same time at the back. Yet also as I previously posted I think we are probably just 2 players from being a pretty good team in this league, one of those being a striker who we will probably not be able to afford other than taking a chance on loaning a youngster from a top side. It will be interesting to see O’Connell & McShane against Oxford who will be the first real test of this partnership. If it goes well then we may need to be discussing how we keep the latter beyond January Overall very pleased with the performance this month and the attacking intent tonight [Post edited 23 Oct 2019 0:00]
