Zeli Ismail - if Burton don't get promoted then we have to try and snap up this lad at least on loan from Wolves, a front three of Ismail, hogan and henderson would have the potential to destroy any league one defence.

Marcus Haber? free agent.. might be a bit expensive but perfect partner for Hogan

I see he got subbed at HT in Burton's predictable 1-0 win.

Don't really understand why, he looked a constant threat. Really skillful winger and seems to be good with his final ball. Noticed him when they played us at home and think he'd be perfect in a counter attacking style we might have to adopt a lot of the time in League one next season.

all them targets are over 28 years old, not the type of signing keith hill is known for. Highly unlikely imo

Yep I don't think anything I've read on that site has ever become reality. I'm expecting non-league youngsters and maybe one or two from teams above us.

No mention of Lee McEvilly yet ?? Just about as likely as any of the others named.

No Jones or Akpro please .
Shame we couldnt match wages of David Edgar or Treacy from burnley, but bet they demanding very high wages.
We should do all we can to sign O'Connell.

Just out of curiosity, how come you wouldn't want Akpro back?

He'll turn 30 this season, he's not clinical enough to play centrally but nowhere near as good as our current options out wide, and he seems to be something of a relegation curse. At least 3 in his career now.

Tangled up in blue.

Never rated him mate and he was woeful against us whilst playing for bury. If you want to be successful in League 1 you need players who can play at that level. he had a brief and totally unexpected blue period at Tranmere, then disappeared.
He is at best a lower league two standard player. lets not rest on sentiment here. We want to ensure we progress. But just my opinion.
Although I dont always agree with Keith Hills players I have to admit it gets the job done, more than happy to leave it in his capable hands.so lets see what transpires.

I just think in some games last year we lacked a bit of power, its all good having the small ones like Henderson,Allen,Hery,Hogan and Done but sometimes you need a different option and I personally think Akpro would give us that.

We've got Donnelly, Bunney and Vincenti that give us the 'power' or/and 'height'. Hogan also is very strong. Hopefully Bunney will only get stronger as well if he can keep his pace as well he could play a big part next season.

Bunney was back in the gym today for pre-season training.

He will be built like Asamoah by the start of the season.

Poll: DF in or out

I'd hope not - Derek Asamoah was/is only about 5ft 6in. Maybe Adebayo Akinfenwa? (who, as he's had about a dozen clubs, will probably be available again this summer).

Don't mean to write players off too quickly but Bunney doesn't exactly use his height so he might aswell be 5ft for all i care, he's much better with the ball at his feet IMO. Also Donnelly is definitely a write off aha

I can't see us being able to offer him more money than them which is what Colchester's manager alludes to. He is also a right back. An area we are well stocked with Rafferty and Bennett. He could potentially play as a holding midfielder although he is 31?

God only knows if he'll sign for us, but wouldn't it be nice for him to link up with his ex-Colchester team-mates.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?
