You can blame bloody Beale for this bloody mess, nobody else.

Go back, read my post again, and once you do, then come back here and tell me exactly where I said Hall 'should' get the job?

(You should meet up with SE, you'd get on famously. He's currently looking for a flatmate too if you're in the market. FYI: expect a rigorous interview process about your short-, medium- and long-term plans.)

Thanks for the sarcasm, twisting of personal information, and your evident difficulty in grasping the point I was making in using it, all of which just makes you look mean and foolish. You're probably one of those people who can't stop themselves engaging in low-level abuse like this while feeling sure you're a nice guy.

I want that problem to be averted. Prevention is better than cure type thing

A few years ago Tim Sherwood's name was linked very heavily with the job. Fan reaction to that very possibly had an influence in steering the club away from that disaster.

I'm making my point known on a public rangers discussion forum that I am concerned the route we are going. I've seen Les take us this route before and it went badly for the club. I want the best manager for the club.

I don't get the mentality of posters like yourself who jump straight to insults before they understand the other persons view point

Van Bronkhorst was sacked on 23rd November. Beale appointed on 28th but it was known right after.

That's why I'm suspicious/ fearful of them harming the club again by going this route. Then putting out noises through media channels like West London Sport to not expect a manager until after Burnley "because contracts" huh?! That makes no sense

I would say yours and Planet Hollywoods well meaning attitude is more harmful to the club.

I've said "if" Les goes that route again I will be against it. I am concerned he will go that route as he has form. And them teeing us up for a delayed appointment

I would be delighted if things picked up pace and someone like this Hammarby guy was appointed but the longer this goes on the more concerned I get

Rathe then getting aggy. Try and understand my viewpoint from the perspective that I want the best for the club. I've explained my concerns. Made known at this point it's a theory and nothing more

If I am wrong then it's no issue. I will just be pleased we went and appointed the best man for the job

Hopefully our fan base is more rational and sensible than you. Otherwise the clubs in trouble

The loaded words used in your original and subsequent posts, clearly indicate that you don't want a person of a hue similar to Les Ferdinand, ever being appointed as coach/manager at your club ever again. Paul Hall is merely in temporary charge and you are fearful of that. By the way, who's to blame for our current predicament? Clue, its' neither Ferdinand nor Paul Hall.

Following your (il)logic to its conclusion, it therefore means if the likes of V Kompany and P Vieira were available, you would exclude them on the grounds of their only being considered as part of Les' "personal crusade to balance racial equality in management positions". What utter nonsense.

The aforementioned have managed more games than our former manager, and as players, have won virtually every honour that's available both for their clubs, and in the case of Vieira for his country. Doubtless, you will give a ringing endorsement to JT being appointed ahead of the examples mentioned above in order to avert the "personal crusade" of Les Ferdinand ever arising again, as that's "the wrong route to go down".

I love Les Ferdinand for his services as a QPR player and I respect his position as DOF.

But If Evil Les should hire a Black manager purely on the basis of his Black mafia agenda I should say OI! Ferdinand! Nooooooo! I appreciate the goals you scored but I do not accept your lowdown dirty racialist ways you SLAAAG!

If that wasn't such a ridiculously daft take I would be offended

Vincent Kompany is only 36 and is 3 years into his career as a first team manager. He's demonstrated leadership skills in his playing career. And has put himself in a position to be a first team manager. He also has a profile and respect for what he has achieved in the game which is a positive

Viera at 46 has been a first team manager for 8 years. He's also very much an established and proven leader since his playing days and is currently in a successful year managing in the Premiership

Both have taken the initiative and impressed enough to get themselves into these positions from a young age. They moved country for opportunities and had success.

For you to compare this
Paul Hall is 50 and never managed a club side. Has had a fairly unremarkable time in our B and junior sides. Not been collected by any of our previous managers as they moved on. Warburton went for Eustace and kept him as his assistant. No one to date has shown faith in him to have him on the bench with them giving tactical in game advice

Given that he's made that little impact at our club to date. He's only now in the last couple of year having his first moves into management proper. That for me means when you put him up against the other candidates linked. I can't see an argument that he is the better option

So your post is so wrong. Because I don't want Paul Hall as manager for you to arrive at the conclusion I don't want anyone of colour to "ever" be appointed as manager. You should be embarrassed with a take so wide of the mark

I think Paul Hall isn't as good as the other candidates. I think he hasn't done enough to this point to be considered and I don't want Les to use a good couple of results against Burnley and Preston to push him into the job on a permanent basis

If viera or Kompany were available and willing to work in our budget then trust me I would take them over Hall or any of the other likely candidates linked. So your take that I wouldn't is just a dumb take. Simple as that

And I use that language because what you said was an unjustified smear

If it's that personal, why would you post it on a football forum? And not just any forum, but one that clearly regards you with mounting disdain.

Increasingly reminded of a chap called Matt Doran.

It might be a bit late on the day but, with Coventry yet again going through the mill, I wonder if we'd think about an approach for Mark Robins. He must be getting tired of all the nonsense that goes on there.

Compensation could rule us out though. He signed a new contract in May this year but no one seems to know how long the contract runs.

I said it on another forum, but if we do get Robins, he should definitely move into Batman Close. Very convenient for getting to the ground.

Am actually not pointing fingers, but threads these days have an amazing knack of turning into a right fcuking row don't they?

There have always been the obvious culprit topic threads, but one on betting odds? Fcukin hell.

Maybe we all need to ease up on the PCP? Or send it to me and I'll join in.

When you forget one of your devices doesn't have you automatically logged in on LFW, read a thread that started so innocently but quickly goes off the rails - then as your blood pressure rises, remember you're not logged in and when you are, you don't see the bits that cause the aforementioned blood boiling, 'cos of your judicious use of the block function. That.

Given the run we were on going into the WC, if a Hall-lead QPR beat high-flying Burnley and return with a point from Deepdale, I suspect there will be many calling for Hall to take charge.

Personally, whomever they appoint, I hope that person continues leading us into season 2023/24, with a broad church of support from the Rfosi.

Wel las one poster said he should have the job if we get a positive result v Burnley, i suppose 2 positive results is 'long term' thinking!

I would say I'm getting slightly more suspicious/ nervous about where they are heading with this with each day that goes by now

And in reality they've known it was coming since Van Bronkhorst got sacked and his sacking wasn't the biggest surprise either so it's actually more than 8 days isnt it

They've been criticised in the past for not conducting a thorough recruitment and interview process. I know we are all desperate to know but, it takes time, a little patience is required.

Slightly more suspicious of a club that's trying to do its due diligence before appointing its next manager. It is just 8 days since our former manager left the club.

How long did it take Wolves to appoint their new manager. These things take time.

Erm no, it isn't - its 8 days since we had no manager.

No idea if candidates are in a job, what money they want etc etc etc,

But yet again club can't/won't win - take their time (8 days isn't that!) and its "Bet he wasn't first choice" etc etc etc

Speedy appointment and its "That was done in a rush, not much thought there"

To imply there is a race angle at what is probably THE most diverse professional club in the country is just nuts.
