Russia invade Ukraine 14:17 - Dec 23 with 165577 viewsFlynnidine_Zidownes

Discuss.

Also why is Putin always described in the media as this rugged strongman? He’s barely five foot tall with his high heels on.

But that’s another debate.

Paid prolagandist Eva Bartlett said it so it must be true.

Still cannot believe that this forum allows openly pro-Kremlin posters here as it invades and kills tens of thousands.

A reminder for everyone just how bad the Kremlin propaganda is:

https://www.stopfake.org/en/fake-ukraine-committed-genocide-against-donbas-inhab

Official figures show that civilian deaths on both sides were barely above 20 per year in the three years before Russia fully invaded and started killing tens of thousands in these regions, and all over Ukraine. A fact that idiots like CJ and BJ will never be able to escape from as they disgracefully support and/or attempt to excuse the Russian invasion and war crimes. They will want to change subject and post their Kremlin propaganda links as much as possible but that is the reality. What they support is pure evil.

Corbyn wants them to win.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/aug/02/jeremy-corbyn-urges-west-to-sto

Aspects of what Corbin is saying are correct, not many leaders are now talking about peace and while arming the Ukraine is likely to prolong the conflict and cause further suffering, but, in the absence of any willingness from Russia and Putin to sit down and discuss a cessation of the hostilities what does Corbin expect the West to do, roll over and appease Putin like they did after Crimea or like the Europeans appeased Hitler in the 30’s ?

The Ukraine is a sovereign state. Having regard to the information and evidence that is available the Russians are intent on subjugating Ukraine, pushing further West linking up with Transnistria and taking Moldova. If we don’t support the Ukraine where is this going to stop? My take on things is that Corbyn should shut up, hopefully he’ll be booted out of parliament at the next GE.

Nothing in my logic ever mentions we should not have gone to the Falkans. It was an uninhabited group of Island, never lived on by any native people of South America, never occupied as a Spanish colony, so when the Colonist from Argentina decided they wanted independence from Spain the New Argentina had no historical or colonial ties with the Falkland Islands and no territorial claims either. This fact has been confirmed by the United Nations many times.

So when Argentina invaded the independent and democratic Falklands Islands the UK had every moral and legal right to use force to eject them which they did with almost no civilians casualties and Argentina POW were treated well by the UK and far better than the Argentinian Generals. The were repatriated to Argentina quickly and without any mistreatment.

The Falkland Islands voted by 99.9% to remain a UK crown dependency in a democratic ballot.

The Russians have of course tried to denying the Ukrainians this basic , human and democratic choice.

So yet again you try to deflect blame from Russian for illegally invading a sovereign nations, committing war crimes , torturing and killing POW and putting them I POW camps in a war zone all in breach of the Geneva Convention which Russia is still a signatory to.

Not according to most sensible organisations and outlets who lay the blame fairly and squarely on the Wagner group.

Russia doesn't have those missiles. Debris and motors from the missiles have been found at the scene.

Himars missiles are very accurate, but they havd a small payload. Ideal for precision targets such as a barracks. They don't cause a lot of colateral damage They don't have much value against a broad frontline of troops, artillery etc and very expensive because of their precision. They are more accurate than cruise missiles but do less damage

Still answered the question of why Ukraine POW were held at the front line instead of thousands of miles away which is clearly in breach of the Geneva convention.

No independently verified evidence from the site only Russian propergada. They have refused access to the Red Cross or officials from Geneva. No doubt.to hide any evidence.

They were mostly AZOV fighters. Under interrogation and not sent to any camp further away. They have been spilling the beans - no doubt to save their own necks, about Ukrainian war crimes. The missile was sent to silence them. As I stated previously , why would Russia bomb those that they already have in capitivity, 50 were killed , plus another 70 who will need medical attention. It's also good PR and propaganda to put these on trial. There is no value in Russia sending a missile against them.

You really are thick ,they wanted them dead by any means , considering the amount of russian targets hit by HiMARs just how difficult would it be to source some remnants of them and strategically place some at the scene of yet another war crime committed by your heroes

You.have answered your own question to hide the fact that they were tourturing POW. Does not matter what unit of the Ukrainians army they were from. I seem to remember the Germans executed British Commandos on Hitlers order.

You have still not answered why Russian are targeting schools, hospitals, civilians killing women and Children as well as executing unarmed adult male civilians.

The attached deals with the issues you’ve highlighted. Based on what’s happened and other reports in the media about torture and abuses committed by the Russians and the Wagner group, I’ve got no doubt who’s behind the atrocities and it’s not the Ukrainians.

Where did i say they were being tortured?

It does matter what unit they are , as Avoz were in the forefront of the genocide and ethnic cleansing in the Donbass.

The answer to why the Russians are targetting civilians is, they are not, however, the Ukrainian military is shelling the cities in the east, often with anti personell mines too

Strange how all the independent international bodies agree their is plenty of evidence that Russia is committing war crimes Iin Ukraine.

You can't shell cities with anti personal mines you have to install them.

You know perfectly well that the only way Russia csn currently advance is to reduce the cities they ate attacking to rubble before sending their troops in to take over empty piles of Rubble.

As you have pointed out many times artillery is the only area that Russia has vast numerical advantage. Russian can no longer send in their old and obsolete tanks as they are too easily destroyed by modern anti tank weapons.

The warheads of the shorter range HIMARS missiles have 91 kilogram (200 pound) warheads. That is a relative little amount of explosives. HIMARS hits are precise and do not create wide ranging collateral damage. That is there whole point.

The claim that 'no traces of the U.S.-provided weapons were found at the site' is also definitely false. Several TV teams have visited the side and filmed the collected debris on the same day the incident had happened during the early morning hours. The diameter of these rocket motor parts fits to HIMARS missiles. Other filmed debris showed typical fragments of the HIMARS missile war head.

It was the Ukraine, and especially its dubious leaders, who had an interest in killing the Azov prisoners. These had started to talk with Russian interviewers and were revealing war crimes for which the leadership in Ukraine is directly responsible.

On July 28 the Russians published a video of an interview with Azov nazi soldier Dmytro Kozatsky, call sign Orest, who directly accused Zelenski advisor Arestovich of ordering the killing of Russian soldiers who had been taken prisoners.

Kozatsky was running the public relation side for his Azov unit. Even before the war started, Kozatsky says, Arestovich was preparing an information campaign with shock videos that were supposed to show the torture and killing of Russian soldiers taken prisoners. Kozatsky received such an order and passed it on. He later noted that such shock videos were indeed made and published on social media sides.

Why try to pass an obviously plagiarised post as something you've written yourself? Not only that but plagiarised from a completely unreliable source?
