QPR V NOTTS FOREST THREAD. 21:43 - Sep 8 with 39837 viewsqpr_1968

i know its early.
can't wait for the day, even though we can't be there.
obviously don't know the teams.
but, my first game was against forest in 1968, won 2-1.
best game i've seen slaughter some one, 1984, 3-0.
and my head says they are going to thrash us, but my heart say's......1-0, qpr.

Poll: how many games this season....home/away.

Not feeling confident, can't see us winning today. I think it will take us a few games to properly get going. The team need to get use to playing together and in Warbs system.

Hope I'm wrong, 3-1 Forest.

Plymouth had six making their debuts last week!

Of all the bastard ponce teams to start the season against.  it's Forest.

I'd rather be cornered next to  a pub jukebox blaring out Paul Parkers sparkler-in-a-Prosecco bottle Speed Garage by a sergio tacchini twin set Romford Homo-erectus charged up on a Smartie Cap top of petrol washed peruvian flake gak, ranting about his c unt of an ex wife who only lets him see the kids at a contact centre at the weekends, than start the season against Forest.

Anyway, fu ck all that to high heaven. 2-0 to the superhoops. In extremis.

It's only Forest. Could have been Brentford.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

See they've just signed player no 256 this season from PSG, they must have one massive club coach.

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

BOS starts and no Manning in the squad.
Good to see Thomas on the bench.

Manning not in squad at all must be either injury or contract situation, but then BOS starts?

Second pedant alert.
There is no full stop between Notts and County because that is their full name and not an abbreviation.

Brian, if you are reading this, then in the context of what I said on the Warburton interview thread, about every thread being scrutinised to death - i rest my case

I'd kill for a clean sheet.

That's the conversation we had, Myke. Is that what you mean?

So evocative. I can smell the stale lager on the cushion of the bar stool and the stale nicotine fighting through the excessive aftershave.

No, I meant where you were worried about a bit of a heave against Warburton on the thread due to the forensic dissection of everything that he says/does. I was making the point that everyone (me included) is over-analysing everything on every thread at the moment, due to a bit of covid 19 boredom and hopefully that will change when the actual games get going. Maybe I never actually pressed the 'send' button - anything is possible at Midnight with red wine!

Me too, I’ve had a terribly upset stomach recently!
Seriously though, can’t see beyond a loss, hope it’s within a goal or 2.
