According to twitter we are apparently looking at Kyle Hudlin of Solihull Moors FC. Suspect we will be linked with huge number of potential signing this summer so thought worth a new thread.

Durham I know little about Skuse but a friend of mine is a big fan of him telling me yesterday he never wastes a pass, good reader of the game and cruially doesn't give balls away. Reckons if he had been fit last season Ipswich would have got in at least the playoffs.

Maybe he'll be the Kevin Watson we've been looking for ever since he left.

Not convinced but hopefully I am proved wrong
If he's fit, and it's a big if, he should be just what we need to run midfield as he sits deep and tries to dictate play. My Ipswich spy also tells me he scores about once per 100 games so should fit right in!
I think this is a good signing. He missed five months through injury last season, but his overall injury record is good, as he has played almost 600 games in his career. Most of those games have been at Championship level, so hopefully he can have the same sort of influence for us that Hoolahan had at Cambridge last season.

Agree - given his age, he might not see out two seasons, but a commanding voice in the heart of midfield.

Ethan Ross released by Lincoln
What an absolute waste of a good goal keeper.
He could have been Colchester number 1 but instead poor transfer to the Imps, wasted on a non league loan deal and now released.
Simply shocking.
We offered him a deal to continue but no doubt agent pressure persuaded him to sign for Lincoln. Good example of the grass not always being greener on the other side of the fence! As it happens I think in George we have a better keeper.

It would appear that Luke Chambers and Freddie Sears will be signing for us this week.
