I agree about the ego. This will hurt badly no matter how much dosh he gets. All of a sudden no one will give a toss what he thinks, although if he's between jobs I'b bet on him trying to lever his phizog onto MOTD or suchlike. He'll get attention deficit problems else.

I was joking about Sunderland - they won't go for him anyway I wouldn't imagine.
