Medically beneficial for cancer pain relief and MS. One political party over here is looking at legalising "recreational use" (if they ever get to be government again). Some states recently legalised personal use, and one has to expect that eventually it will be legal and taxed like tobacco.
I have no interest in the stuff. Never have. Never will. It's a public nuisance round here. Can't stand the smell, and any football ground or hockey stadium that has it smoked there won't find me attending!

Managed to see The Who in December on a trip to NY at Madison Square Gardens and there were lots and I mean lots of people skinning up and smoking in there.
Daltrey complained and told them to stop saying at his age and his voice becoming fragile smoke especially weed irritates it! He then said if you need extra stimulation to listen then you can F^ck off!!!
TBF I didn't mind too much - it took me back to dark nights in the Palais, Camden Palace, etc watching bands in the 80's.

I was finding it quite funny especially when that prick of a steward came up to eject you (I'd had words with his supervisor about his attitude earlier), but thought you'd gone too far when you got aggressive towards the bloke on the end of the row.

As an ex smoker myself, I think I find it worse when people are sparking up around me, than if I'd never smoked before.
I hate walking under the loft, en route to the blue and white bar, at half time, when lots of smokers are congregating along the narrow walkway.
Perhaps they could have smoking areas in grounds, or am I being ridiculous? |  |

My mum has never smoked, in the 70's she was a waitress in a busy berni inn, obviously back then people smoked at their tables, she is 79 and has been diagnosed with COPD which is basically a smoking related condition which will eventually kill her. So please don't give me any guff about being near a smoker won't hurt you. |  |
