Good Luck UK on 20:42 - Dec 15 by BazzaInTheLoft | How could you possibly have known your vote was worthless until the result was declared? Am I missing something? You haven’t earned your ire mate, at either QPR or the Labour Party. Norf, Nix, and ETB amongst many others have. It’s no coincidence that you are the only one I have thrown an insult at today and others. Empty vessels make the most noise. I respect the result, and I respect the opinions of others that took the time to vote. The Labour Party obviously went wrong somewhere, and the answer probably lies amongst the variety of opinions on here. You take care, and maybe I’ll see you at Loftus Rd on Saturday where I’ll buy you a pint. Of course I won’t, you’ll be on here spitting bile at a match you haven’t seen, after spitting bile at a election you never voted in. |
LOL How did I know I live in London I live in a Remain City and borough, one of the safest seats in London only Simon Hughes and Neil Coyle have held this seat in decades Coyle won this seat with +15K seats the last time. I did not need a calculator or crystal ball to see what the result would be this time. Went to Rangers since 72 season ticket till 10 years ago when my disability made that impossible, I don't give a shite what you think in my regard of being an R Stay Bitter lol [Post edited 15 Dec 2019 21:01]

Like the people of Bassetlaw and Canterbury who didn’t expect to wake up to a different party in 2019 and 2017? Cop out. There are plenty here who can’t make games who don’t need to be the most obnoxious person in the forum every Saturday afternoon. For someone who doesn’t give shit you have spent an awful lot of your time arguing with a stranger about it.

The majority are decent mate. I know I can be overbearing with my views and am probably deservedly on a few block lists. Horses for courses I guess.

Good Luck UK on 19:33 - Dec 15 by BazzaInTheLoft | Shinner friend of mine says they are licking their lips over there. A Unified Ireland will be be the Brexit of 2025. Agree with others, most don't care especially those under the age of 35 who don't remember the troubles. |
You may be right Bazz. It terrifies me, though. I'm still haunted by some of the people affected by the Troubles: that poor family, the Balls, who lost their only son, Robert Nairac who was tortured and murdered, the poor woman who was killed for talking to a soldier leaving her children behind, the two soldiers who were lynched on live TV and then murdered because they strayed into the wrong part of town, the Omagh bombings, Bloody Sunday, it goes on and on. If a united Ireland led to an end to the Troubles forever, I'd almost think bloody Brexit was worth it.

I'm doing a public service keeping you on here replying to me and away from poor buggers having to listen to your far left-wing bolx in the wider world that made them vote Tory.

You are right it is terrifying. The media reporting of it is terrifying too. There has already been disturbances that haven’t been reported on the BBC. I don’t think it’s a political action by the BBC, I think it’s catering to English audiences who quite frankly don’t care much. Some hope though, is the reaction to the murder of that young journalist Lyla McKee. Condemnation and actual action on both sides. [Post edited 15 Dec 2019 21:15]

Still at least Rachel Riley is happy

Good Luck UK on 00:00 - Dec 16 with 1647 views | PunteR | Bazza is just trying to make the world a better place. Hats off to him for that. I did wonder why he used a QPR forum as a platform to push the momentum agenda though. Politics and religion is so divisive. Never sat well for me that he turned 80% of threads into something political, but thats just me i guess.Regarding the Tories continuing to run the country like they have been for most of my 43 years of life i think Lblock had it right when he said we've just got to get on with it. Putting up some sort of opposition at every available opportunity doesn't help anyone. I think Boris needs all the help he can get. The anglo American world power will be in full swing.

Good Luck UK on 10:28 - Dec 16 with 1952 views | hopphoops | The most pertinent comment on this thread is its title. Without denying the democratic mandate for Brexit, the fact remains that it creates the greatest political challenge to the country since WW2 at least, facing the least-well-equpped government in living memory. The meagre 4% certainty bounce in sterling reflects that. I'm no expert, but I'll be getting my money out (when I've done the important stuff like posting here ;) ).

Sterling has already been the best performing major currency this year. And if you think this is a bigger crisis than 1972-1985...(mass murder in Ireland and at times on the mainland, three day week, industrial unrest, riots, fuel shortages, original EU entry). [Post edited 16 Dec 2019 10:36]
