The guy seriously is dog poo on the pitch, and lots of people seem to be misremebering the fact.
Just because pretty much our team was pi$$-poor last season, doesn't mean it would have made Our Kid look any better. He was worse than useless for us, both on the pitch and off it. |  |

However, he is a better midfielder than Granero, Park, or MBia. That clearly isn't saying very much but they are also high paid wasters.
Likewise, he would probably be picked before Mackie, Faurlin, Hogan, Derry, or Diakite.
As such, having him in the team probably upgrades the midfield -- however depressing the prospect of having him tarnish the club's good name with all his ego-driven rubbish. Perhaps a spell in the Championship will be enough to deflate his ego and maybe that'll be good for him. Who knows?
On balance, yes I'd have him back. |  |
