Apologies if it's a spack but WLS seem to think we need more attacking options. This loan might be to free up a squad place as well as get games into Larkeche.

Not strictly a transfer rumour, but I see Ossie Kakay hasn't found himself a new club yet. We all know his limitations, but I would have thought someone with almost 100 championship appearances would have at least found a league 1 or 2 club by now

That's really sad to hear. He had some games where he played ok or better but lacked consistency and failed to develop at first team level. I wish him well and hope he gets a deal somewhere.

I thought he’d probs get a League One club, Orient or Charlton possibly seems a shame honest pro and hugely likable lad
In other news Rafferty Pedder is on trial at Southend and impressed in their 3-1 defeat to Gillingham and is now going on their tour of Ireland

Sometimes the refusal to take a Loan out in January follows you around.
Closed shop this game lots of the time

I'd be surprised, we're not exactly heavy on left footed left backs.

I don't think not taking the loan would have an impact but I do wonder if he's being quite restricted/stubborn about where he's willing to go for the same reasons he rejected the loan - young family. I understand his point of view but that's a footballer's life, you've got to be willing to move, otherwise the compromise will be on wages and the level you play at.

I fear we're getting to a point now where with no Eze sale, and nobody (that we know of) in for Chair it's fine margins financially. Marti made that comment that the club knows what he needs, which he's made before.
Maybe freeing up Larkeche's wage and gambling on Fox as cover is a way of trying to get over the line with the numbers on the next signing.

Fox did really well when he played there last season. A real 'Gertcha, cowson!' (or Welsh equivalent) sort of performance. Nothing spectacular but the opposition were made to earn every penny of their match fee.

Don't forget Wolves are still supposed to be eyeing JCS with a rumoured transfer fee of up to £8m. I wouldn't be surprised if JCS went there though I would be surprised if we got that much for him.
Edit: Just seen that Palace are now supposed to be interested in JCS as Marc Guehi is linked with a move to Liverpool, Arsenal or even Real Madrid.

£8 million is excellent business for JCS if that happens, but he is a key player and his link up with Steve Cook, was a massive factor in our improvement last season.
A player would hate to lose and we could do well to get likewise but with all his injury worries consistently over his career, obviously that's still lingering.
He could get injured and then gets sold at £1 million instead next season.
"PLEASE DONT GO" is the song choice that comes to mind though !!

Totally disagree. Sell for 8M, reinvest half of that into he team with 3 or 4 new players and repeat.
