Is he still at the club?
We can't afford to pay £700k for a player not to play him

Good man. feel for the players brought in only to sit on the bench.Steve goes on about tiredness etc but this kid must be busting a gut to start.

Why not tomorrow and rest Ayew or Jamal for cradiff

The boy has only just turned 20! He wasn't bought to slot into the first 11 straight away. He'll get his chance

I doubt we have paid more than 200k as it stands.

To be fair when we bought him Cooper said he was one for the future so unless either Ayew or Lowe get injured I’m not expecting to see more than a few late match cameos.

Remember Morris got injured after signing him. And Cullen is out too.

Came here to get more football than he was getting at Derby, ends up getting less. So much for the "pathway".

Can't that pathway be walked down slowly and sensibly?and not sprinted down haphazardly?

Can there be some movement down the pathway to begin with?

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

There is, hes in the first team squad, on the bench and even made a few appearances off the bench.

If Morris and Cullen were fit there's a chance he wouldn't have been even this far along.

Whilst i would never his ability, and i think he must be a top player.

But we needed first team players for now.
For that sort of money we could have got one.

Strange investment decision.

Agreed, but in fairness no one could have foreseen that Morris was going to get injured, so it looked like we had back up for that position.

Yes,the future.

He was bought with that in mind

I read it here,so it must be right.

Steve must have stated as much

Frankly,I would rather a player for NOW, the future can wait especially when we have NO striker. Forgivable at the season start but not 5 months later.

£200k up front. Plus a fee every appearance for next 3 seasons. If he plays we pay, and he don’t start so it’s a waste of cash bringing him on as a sub.

You're right. He's already streets ahead on his pathway. A pathway which led to a potentially career defining goal in his first outing against the best team in the world.

Pretty sure he's more than delighted to be riding our wave, way down by the sea.

Learning and refining his trade with world class Andre Ayew, under the clever nurturing stewardship of one of the best young managers.

Selecting a team isn’t his job either, but people are more than happy to have their say on it.

Ask a tricky question like who could be get for a measly couple of 100k worthy of slotting straight into a promotion chasing Championship side in January and it’s suddenly “not my job, Guv”.

Same goes for people calling for the head of Cooper. As soon as they are asked for a replacement and why they would be better it all goes silent.
