Is he still at the club?
We can't afford to pay £700k for a player not to play him

Brewster and Abraham were 19.

Not every player develops into a first team worthy player at the same age.

Can't that pathway be walked down slowly and sensibly?and not sprinted down haphazardly?

He had that at Derby. 1 start and 8 cameos for them this season, and similar last season. Said in the interview when he joined he came for a manager with faith in him and more first team chances.

Been a step backwards for him. Maybe the pay rise is worth it though.

Derby are also a bit of a sinking ship and he's worked with Cooper before. He's also on the whole training with better players day in, day out. He could conceivably be a squad member of a Premier league team next season.

Not neccessarily a backwards step at all, wasn't exactly looking like he was going to part of Rooneys plans either.

Its early days.

Brewster £23m Abraham not far off. I think I read somewhere he was at a level below where Cooper was in charg. He said hee had worked with Marsh quite a bit.

If Whittaker is one for the future then he is 80% into the future now. He needs games nd team needs him. 19 is old enough.
