Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

They’re all at it. Can’t they go a working day without a beer? These politicians have got a problem.
This story surfaced 7 months ago, but it has reappeared in the news over the last few days as some kind of attempt to take the heat off Boris.
My personal view is that this is a million miles away from the Boris “garden parties” - it’s also interesting that Cummins (via his blog) is claiming he warned the PM against allowing the event to take place as did “two senior staffers” and will swear on oath if required and that there are other witnesses!!!! Number 10 is denying Cummins account and that the PM saw emails re the party.
We could be in for an interesting few days.

No equivalence at all.
Starmer working long hours had food and drink delivered. No alcohol, not premeditated. Johnson maybe was working long hours - stick with me - but it was a party that was organised in advance, with invites and alcohol. It was a planned party.
Starmer has answered the questions. Johnson lied and said he had been given assurances that there had been no parties when in fact he attended at least one himself.
Beware of the Risen People

Cummins comments may be intended to ramp up the pressure on Sue Gray, if someone is offering information such as this and is prepared to name names etc, surely she can’t disregard it? I’d have thought she’d have to speak to Cummins and try to get the details of the others?

There’s speculation in some of the media outlets that Cummins is now going to be interviewed by Sue Gray. Cummins isn’t someone I’d trust, but neither is Boris. Could be a bumpy few days for the government.
Johnson now says that no one told him the rules. F&£5ing hell mun. This clown is Prime Minister. Even Felix can't defend him.

Agreed.
Honest to god. You couldn't make this stuff up.
The man is a buffoon.
He was a 'buffoon' and also a proven liar before he became Leader of the Conservative Party and subsequently Prime Minister. People voted for him. That's democracy for you.

The industry I work in has been exempted from working time directives ever since I’ve known. It is not unusual to end a long job with a complimentary beer or if working on late and through the night to get pizza delivered. This is what happened in Starmer’s office, and he even explained that they were in the campaign office, working late, staying away in a hotel where the restaurants and bars were closed, hence takeout or nothing. There is something seriously wrong with people if they’re using this as another ‘whataboutism’ to defend Bodger and his band of criminals.

This is a story that surfaced last year and was addressed by Starmer at the time; its reappeared in certain elements of the Conservative media over the last few days as a means of attacking Starmer and trying to take the spotlight off Boris.
What Starmer has done is on the face it it reasonable and in accordance with the rules at the time. Boris has attended and seemingly allowed parties to take place in Downing Street contrary to legislation in place at the time.
If Boris goes so should some of his colleagues who’ve defended the indefensible.

PMQs... - starts off with the Tory Bury South MP crossing the house to the Labour party - Boris "Nobody told me the rules", which technically is quite correct because he made them up and told us - then Tory MP David Davies, "I expect my leaders to shoulder the responsibility for the actions they take. Yesterday he did the opposite of that." then came out with a 1940 classic line to the PM "You have sat there too long for all the good you have done. In the name of God, go.”

The MP's with seats picked up from Labour at the last election will be bricking it and force him out.

He’s been the Conservatives biggest asset and their biggest lability. His maverick style will have appealed to a lot of people particularly those who don’t like politicians, see them as grey establishment types and his “lets get Brexit done” message would have resonated after years of going round in circles, but the guy is very superficial, doesn’t do detail, lies , thinks he’s above the law and is being found out. I think he’s toast. The Conservatives got rid of a lot of the moderate MP’s and they’ve lurched to the right, I suspect a lot of the newly elected Red Wall MP’s will get booted out at the next GE.

David ‘oven ready deal, they need us more than we need them’ Davies? FFS.
Once the snakes attack each other the game should be up but Bodger will see them all poison each other before he’ll slither out from beneath the putrid stench of the Conservative Party remains.

If Boris hasn't gone soon, then they will be at the next election.
Local elections are in May. If he goes before then, I think he will be the shortest serving PM on record (At least that's what I heard on the radio yesterday)
