Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

Resting players two games into a season. Dear me.

Perhaps, but he played a full game on Saturday and looked really tired in the 2nd half. And we'll probably need him for the full game again at Leicester.

Plus, I have my doubts that playing him with Routledge, Dyer, and whoever takes Gylfi's place tomorrow is going to do all that much for his confidence.

Why isn't Gylfi playing?

Just speculating that he'll be rested.

Certainly if we did decide to play Llorente, it would be pointless unless Gylfi was out there too, so they can work on their link up play.

Guidolin loves a cup run and we need to get our act together. Play the strongest possible team! It's only 2 weeks in and There's an international break coming up so lost will be resting anyway.

Another good match thread from Mr Jack Harris. Keep up the good work

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Peterborough vs Swansea City
Football League Cup Second round

ABAX Stadium

Although the new Moy's End stand is now open, the Club have decided to continue housing away fans in part of the Main Stand (towards the Moy's End) where just over 1,800 fans can be seated. The view from this stand is quite good, although the facilities inside (such as the refreshment area and toilets) are on the small side and are quite basic. In the upper part of the stand the seating is wooden, giving an indication of the age of the stand.

Food available inside the ground includes the standard fayre of; Cheeseburgers (£3.50), Burgers (£3.50), Hot Dogs (£3.50), Various Pies including Chicken Balti, Steak and Cheese & Onion (£3.10), Pasties (£3.10) and Jumbo Sausage Rolls (£3.10). On the whole on each of my visits, I have found Peterborough to be a good and fairly relaxed day out, with some good pubs in the locality too. Away fans sitting in Block A of the Main Stand, should be made aware that the leg room is quite tight. Otherwise a very pleasant old fashioned ground with welcoming stewards.' Please note that the seating area is situated at the opposite end of the ground to the main London Road.

There are a number of good pubs in the centre of Peterborough. Most have doormen present on matchdays, but seem happy enough to admit away fans. The Cherry Tree pub on Oundle Road is popular with both home and away supporters. It is about a 15 minute walk away from the visitors turnstiles. It is a friendly pub that is listed in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide and also offers a range of reasonably priced matchday food, such Chilli & Chips, Curry & Chips, Burgers etc.. which are served from a separate area to the rear of the pub. You can also park in their car park at a cost of £2.50 per car and £5 per minibus.

Alun Thomas a visiting Wrexham supporter adds; 'We found a better bet than the Cherry Tree was the Palmerston Arms. It is away fan friendly and has around 10 real ales on on offer. This pub is situated around 100 yards further along Oundle Road on the opposite side'. This pub is owned by Batemans Brewery and serves a number of their own ales, as well as additional guest ales. It is a strange pub, in so much that apart from one real ale on handpump, the rest of the ales are dispensed straight from the barrels in the cellar, which can be viewed through a glass window behind the bar. Please note that the pub doesn't stock the likes of Guinness, Carling etc... The pub also doesn't serve food, but doesn't object to customers bringing in their own. Handily located between the Cherry Tree and Palmerston Arms is the Harbour City fish and chip shop. Please note though that it closes at 2pm on Saturdays.

Whilst Gordon Pearson recommends the Peacock, which can be found 'as you come over the River Nene, proceed down London Road past the ground on the left and the pub is situated on the right at the traffic lights next to a KFC drive through'.

Near to the ground is Charters, which is certainly worth a visit and is also listed in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. This former Dutch barge, is moored on the River Nene, just a few minutes walk away from London Road, on the left hand side of the bridge, going towards the city centre. Upstairs is a Chinese restaurant, but downstairs there is a bar, which had on my last visit 12 real ales on tap. It was friendly enough and fans were able to take their drinks out onto the river bank, which makes it quite pleasant, when the weather is good. Alternatively, the ground is in walking distance (10 minutes) of the city centre (which is very pleasant and complete with a cathedral) where there are plenty of good pubs to be found.

If you are arriving by train then the Brewery Tap near to the station on Westgate, is worth a visit. The home of Oakham Ales, this spacious bar serves good beer, Thai food and allows you views into the brewery itself. Pete Cluderay informs me; 'I discovered an excellent pub just up the road from the Brewery Tap called the Wortley Almshouses which is housed within quite an old building. It serves reasonable priced beers by Sam Smiths as well as food.'

Please note that alcohol is not made available to away supporters inside the stadium.

Lineup

McBurnie gets his chance, really hope he takes it. I'm scared that Amat is lining up alongside Van der Hoorn; suggests that Frankie genuinely thinks Fernandez is the 1st choice defender. Glad to see Fulton getting a run out too as he had some quality games back in 2014.

Or he thinks Van the man is his replacement and wants to see how he plays with Amat as a partnership?
