"Swansea cannot go on just hoping Shelvey might come good. "
"But Swansea need to concentrate on themselves in this battle and turn to those they can depend on. "
"The only thing you can depend on with Shelvey is frustration — just as was the fear when he first walked through the Liberty Stadium door."
This.
I've defended Shelvey. I've hoped his public bollockings would get him to get his noggin down and play to the ability we all know he has. How fuggin wrong I was and my apologies for doing so.
I've wished players and managers all the best when they've left us. Good luck for their career except when they're up against us. Shelvey with his attitude can go and fuk spiders. Failed at Liverpool because of attitude- no top end club will try him again with what they've seen from him for us recently. Hope the b'stard ends up on loan at a Conference club, because his attitude to help us recently has been seriously AWOL. Can't call himself a professional as that contravenes the Trades Description Act Can't wait to see what the Geordies do when he repeats the attitude problem, which he will. They'll find out when Brollyman takes them down to the Championship. Waste of talent. Waste of space. Useless c**t fuggin knobber tw@ Or as Dar would say "Fuk him."
If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious.

Sorry SL3 that post makes you WUM of the year for 2016 and we`re barely into it! No doubt he has talent but for you to say "One of the best players ive ever seen in a swans shirt top player on his day." means you have not been watching us for that long, there have been loads of players who perhaps did not have his talent but are far more worthy to claim as being a top player for The Swans. Are you JJS?

Time watching has nothing to do with it. Gylfi and Ash are streets ahead. JDG was arguably. Michu and Wilf certainly were. And Fab would have a good shout too.
JJS a big talent no doubt, but as Curt said he went missing too often had mentality problems especially when not in the team. Shame as he could be very good on his day.

Not agreeing with the OP in the slightest LiG the very rare glimpses of his talent not enough for him to claim JJS as the best he has seen in a Swans shirt and I agree time watching has nothing to do with it but even our short tenure at the Liberty has seen the likes of Michu far more worthy of such a claim.

Gylfi in previous seasons possibly, JDG not as much talent, Michu goal wise defo. Bony and Ash play in different parts of pitch.
Shelvey has all the talent in the world. But he keeps on making the same mistakes over and over again.
Hes in last chance saloon now though with all the other misfits at Newcastle. Good luck to them and him.. hes a lazy fhucker and theyll see through that pronto. I have a feeling we shall be spouting "Good job Agent Shelvey" sooner rather than later..
"Michu, Britton and Williams could have won 3-0 on their own. They wouldn't have required a keeper."

I suppose we will never know but Ferrie Bodde had far more talent than JJS and had a better range of passing than him, scored his fair share of screamers as well as deft finishes and had a better temprement if only!

Ferre was definitely better with the head Someone used to have the signature (something like) there's a list of creatures that exist only because Ferre allows them to. Always made me laugh a bit.
Would have loved to have seen if Ferre could have done it in the Prem. Pity we were never able to find out. Glad he sold his house in Derby though! Most of us thought Dobbs could be a good PL player as well. Couple of managers tried that and as much as I love Dobbs for helping us to promotion, he could never cut the mustard.

Are spiders a notoriously bad fuk then? Think of what all their limbs could do.

Your all thick as sh1t
If this is the video that persuaded Shteve to buy JJS, congratulations; its made more money for the club than Jack to a King.
If you can fill the unforgiving minute.
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

fuc.k him, always acted like a jilted bride every time we played liverpool. questionable if he ever wanted to be here in the first place.
Like many players we are stepping stone for their ambitions- not got a problem with that so long as they put a shift in when they are here.
Steven Gerard is his hero, unfortunately for him he doesn't have the fitness and energy to go with the talent that made Gerard stand out, he looks more like the Gerard in decline, inconsistent and seeing fitter men in his face or running past him.

i can barely remember a transfer out that has made me feel so upbeat.
Shocking attitude, has the movement, diet and intelligence of a slug.
Now if Gomis can go as well things will be looking brighter.
Need to invest the money though, and quickly.
I would go for 1 x midfield dog type player (de Jong, Gibson both been mentioned and would fit this). 1 x more creative midfielder (a la JDG or possibly Joey Allen), 1 x forward with a bit of hunger and bit of a risk (such as that lad from Oxford who was excellent) and 1 x forward (probably on loan) who is established - a Wilf or Remy type. £3m for the first, £5m for the second, £2m for the third and a £2m loan fee and £2m wages. £14m out with similar back in and the estimated £120k per week saved on Gomis and Jonjo Sluggy pay for the first three players.
Can't say I agree with the last paragraph. I think we should spunk as much money as possible on a really class striker (like we did with Wilf) who'll be easy to sell on if we do go down or save us if we stay up.

Wilf is not coming back, we should at least try but I think it will be futile as he will want champions league and matched salary plus he will wait to see if we lose to Sunderland and Watford and therfore he is a summer signing only or maybe a loan if he annoys Pellegrini enough with his big headedness. A fantasy signing in other words. I somehow think Gomis will stay and he may find the net sporadically whilst his aides dust off the old CV. Maybe we get someone in on loan or maybe Routs and Ayew start banging them in with a better midfield.
I don't think our midfield is quiet good enough for this level of fight week in week out , we have no no real managerial experience and without the Shelvey of the second half of last season and againts massively improve teams around us bar 3, we should be looking hard for two top end players such as JDG and De Jong or another experienced defensive midfielder. If we have to, ship out 2 or 3 players now or in the Summer.
For some reason it did not work out with JJS and that is a bummer and I wish him no luck at all with the rest of the season.

Get the humble pie out when JJS keeps the Geordies up with his match winners not that he's ever done that for us pmsl. Big KB to the rescue with his 40 yarders...
Go on then Sam off you go.
