On his day Jonjo is very good , great 2nd half of season last year and probably our best player of a bad bunch this season up untill his spat in training& it's gone down hill since then .

Problem is he has had so many blips, where his motivation seems to go, and if he doesn't get it back he wont be going to the Euros. Pity he couldn't have knuckled down for us.
But £12 million, after his total lack of commitment and recent petulant displays, I am happy, as long as it is wisely invested.
Problem is in my opinion until we get out of the shit, no players will commit maybe a loan deal is the best we can hope for Defoe, Crouch ?? Or a good Championship player, is Austin still available.

New lease of life for him though, with the Euro's coming up in the summer may just give him the drive he needs to do well at Newcastle until the end of the season unfortunately, not that I think it will last though.
