Wales 15:22 - Sep 6 with 8412 views | thejack1912 | First time Iv been excited for a Wales game and a qualifying campaign in a long time. Probably the best shot we've got at qualifying with the squad. Please let's not f@ck it up

I think that unbeaten tag will go straight away in Switzerland.

I think England will do what they usually do in qualifying matches - win in the most tedious fashion possible.

It's the traditional beginning of qualifying optimism. Soon to be replaced with the just after the beginning of qualifying realisation that we're still a bit sh*t. 24 teams qualifying for this one though so you never know.

I wouldn't say they fail miserably. They're never expected to do well. Getting to the last 16 is about as far as the England national team are expected to get. Failing miserably would be not qualifying.

Wales on 18:04 - Sep 6 with 4549 views | Neath_Jack | Too many false dawns previously to be excited. Although i will say that apart from the striker position, we haven't got a bad starting 11. We'll probably be out of contention by the midway point of qualifying nevertheless.

Wales need to get off to a good start to get points on the board early, with a bit of confidence who knows but we might do something this time.

People like me who have followed Wales for over a decade at nearly every home game deserve a major tournament. I'd be delighted if we qualified and only people who could provide proof of attending 10+ games in the past 4 years are allowed tickets for the finals.

Wales on 18:55 - Sep 6 with 4455 views | ABERSWAN | As rubbish as the FAW are, they run a membership scheme for each qualifying campaign, and award points for every game attended, home and away. This has been running for about ten years now, so if Wales were to qualify, they have a database with all the fans points and these fans get priority on tickets to the Euros in France, world cup in Russia. Costs £10 to be a member, but you have to renew for each campaign. Once a member you get first choice on match tickets,or buy a tournament ticket for £75 adult/£18.75 OAPS and kids. Works out only £3.75 a game for kids/OAPS and £15 for adults.

I've been to quite a few Wales away games and to be honest didn't enjoy them due to the Cardiff bias and intimidation. Fair play however, Cardiff support Wales far more than us. I suppose many Swans fans including myself get fed up of Wales always (historically) playing the main games at Cardiff or Wrexham (Wrexham back in the day). It's a very sad reflection on our country that so much infighting takes place and I must say, Cardiff City fans are mainly to blame. I went away to Brussels back in the 90's (1-1) and it was a complete nightmare. The English seem to be clueless as to how to change their fortunes on the pitch and we seem to be clueless as to how to create unity off the pitch and a 'Team Wales' mentality. I've supported the Swans all my life and always will, if there is one thing however that might make me turn my back on the Swans is the attitude many of our supporters have towards our national team. The snide little remarks on here to my f*cking head in. Ymlaen!

I agree in the past Wales were not very good on the pitch so our so called supporters were trying to get their entertainment off it. That said when Mark Hughes was manager we were getting fantastic crowds and the attention was more on the pitch which in fact should be the case anyway. Forget where the Wesh team are playing, a few wins and the crowds will come back hopefully, wherever your from.

My worst experience was when we played England in Cardiff, I think either Cole or Beckham scored the winner. When our train which was full predominantly full with Welsh fans from Swansea attending the match arrived in Cardiff we were made to endure a police escort including dogs, horses and riot place from the platform all the way to our seats in the stadium. Meanwhile thousands of Cardiff City supporters were in the street surrounding us, throwing missiles at us and chanting abusive remarks. It was from that moment on I decided to never travel away to a Welsh international as without that significant police presence I'm positive numerous peaceful Welsh fans from Swansea that day would have been hospitalised.
