My worst experience was when we played England in Cardiff, I think either Cole or Beckham scored the winner.

When our train which was full predominantly full with Welsh fans from Swansea attending the match arrived in Cardiff we were made to endure a police escort including dogs, horses and riot place from the platform all the way to our seats in the stadium.

Meanwhile thousands of Cardiff City supporters were in the street surrounding us, throwing missiles at us and chanting abusive remarks. It was from that moment on I decided to never travel away to a Welsh international as without that significant police presence I'm positive numerous peaceful Welsh fans from Swansea that day would have been hospitalised.

Come on Dwight, you know what happened the last time you lot turned up in Cardiff, you made it plain who you were and were escorted to a gay bar then escorted to the train without seeing the game. Look i never saw any trouble in Cardiff that England game and it was Joe Cole that scored their winner. I agree there should be no club rivalry on Wales trips and doesn't MTJ travel to most Wales away games? i know a few of us that knows him but find him an ok guy that just follows his country why that can't happen in general i don't know!

As soon as Bale and Ramsey dont play because of their club wishes then it's all over im afraid.

My methods are not favoured by some but by god i speak the truth.

Wth the talent we have at present, there is a bit of pressure and optimism for this campaign.
I was in O Neills that day in Cardiff when I heard 'Swansea O Swansea' booming out from the street outside.
they should move the games back to the Millenium and slash the prices. lets get some passion back.
in the square in Malmo there was a huge Welsh flag there enscribed with the words:

"Welsh teams unite, why do we fight?"

That's exactly my point, if people come to Wales Internationals 'booming' their team's name there is only going to be one outcome which is pathetic.

I agree lower the prices like in the Hughes era but having said that £75 for 5 homes games is great value.

It's a bit like booing the national captain because of who he plays for

but these mid week fixtures are useless for us Westies or the gogs.

i'll be there for the Bosnia game, but I simply can't finish work on time in Carmarthen to get to Cardiff by KO time in a reasonable state without killing myself on the M4

I went to a couple of games at the Cardiff City Stadium and the abuse Ashley Williams had was disgraceful from some sections of the crowd.

I had to bite my lip on times

When the hell was this?

He was played in midfield a few times around 2010 and he was absolutely gash. A lot of hate and it was deserved, but not at the player but at the manager.

Similar to when anus and his cronies informed the police they were in a pub outside Swansea so they had a police escort.

Oh it does. Its also happened for many years where Swansea players are booed by Cardiff fans and to be fair quite often vice versa

I get that you like international football immensely but you are also making it out to be massively exciting which it isn't. My last game was Scotland at home when we won 2-1 - great atmosphere would have been like a morgue without the Scottish fans making it such

Well that Gareth Bale double would have livened things up, especially the second.

Our squad isnt as good as people are saying it is. We have a decent midfield and half of our defence is ok...other than that we are championship/league one standard.

Yes it bought a cheer from the home fans and for a few minutes there was an atmosphere

I suspect that away trips probably have a bigger atmosphere because that is generally the way that it is.

We all know wins is what brings the crowds in, a good start and if there is any possibility of us qualifying they will have to move the home games to the Millenium for the demand of tickets. We just need to build momentum.

If we can beat Andorra and Bosnia in our 1st 2 games then we ve got a chance , too many false dawns over the years so let's hope it's not all over by early October

Almost any home fans in the country will mock away fans who only make noise when they score/are winning. Apparently that's fine in international football though. Yet another reason club football wins hands down.

You know, Hobbes, some days even my lucky rocket ship underpants don't help.

It's well known Cardiff are always the bulk of the Wales home/away following. With them back in the championship and Cardiff boys not attending their games because of Tan I think there will be even more Cardiff at their games now.

The Euros in France could be quite hostile if we qualify.

Win, draw or lose.. Jacks are on the booze

Passion wise wales are crap.
Anyone who was around at that a Niels joe Jordan debacle knows what I'm on about.
I recall many games filled with screaming kids and disinterested parents.
