It's well known Cardiff are always the bulk of the Wales home/away following. With them back in the championship and Cardiff boys not attending their games because of Tan I think there will be even more Cardiff at their games now.

The Euros in France could be quite hostile if we qualify.

Grow up bud.

Come on Dwight, you know what happened the last time you lot turned up in Cardiff, you made it plain who you were and were escorted to a gay bar then escorted to the train without seeing the game. Look i never saw any trouble in Cardiff that England game and it was Joe Cole that scored their winner. I agree there should be no club rivalry on Wales trips and doesn't MTJ travel to most Wales away games? i know a few of us that knows him but find him an ok guy that just follows his country why that can't happen in general i don't know!

Turned up, thats the point.

Qualify..........

Don't get your hopes up, after fifty years of disappointments , anybody with any sense knows we will not qualify , players withdrawing, dodgy decisions, foreign European wars, drugged up Russians, missed penalties, sending's off there is bound to be a new reason this time round.

Well I think Paul Bodin has retired

We did actually get to the last 8 of the euros in 1976, quarter finalists.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I've got my season ticket. Haven't missed a wales home game anywhere for over 30 years. Cant say I enjoy it all the time but cant help myself attending. done my fair share of away games as well to far flung corners of europe as well. Never had any bother but have generally been good at avoiding it. Cardiff fans who want some argy bargy are a bit thick and hang around near train stations in oirish bars making a noise. I like to think were more cultured than that and avoid such places. to say that cardiff are the majority is stretching it some of the time. Places like azerbaijan they were the minority the rest of us were wales fans ;) had some great banter with Man You, merthyr, north Walians who follow many clubs (man city, lfc, everton and even Wrexham. I didn't realise supporting your national team was a competition.

Now I would like to see cardiff actually put out some of the team on the pitch that would make a nice change. they don't get everything really do they? they don't get first class footballers for a start! C'mon Wales wherever your from

Our squad isnt as good as people are saying it is. We have a decent midfield and half of our defence is ok...other than that we are championship/league one standard.

Exactly. The Bale / Ramsey media fest is blowing our squad expectations out of proportion. We'll be very lucky to scrape 3rd place and a play-off against the likes of Sweden / Russia / Rep of Ireland ! Would be very nice to qualify for a major finals after all these years but being realistic our chances are very slim.

C'mon Bony shoot !!!!

It s interesting the Scots can put away religious and city rivalries to support their country.

Its not an issue with them ,with us ,its huge deal.

Excellent point Perch. For a national team with two clubs with far bigger fanbases than us and Cardiff, with far more aggro between them, I rarely hear of any problems between them when Scotland play. Happy to be told if I'm wrong on that.

You know, Hobbes, some days even my lucky rocket ship underpants don't help.

A lot of Celtic fans follow the ROI, for all manner of reasons.
Some Rangers tend to follow England.
Never the twin shall meet.
Most sweaties come from the other clubs.

I well remember having just moved up here seeing it in all its alcoholic glory.

I was working in Old Swan, Liverpool and had a shop.

It was THE game where Joec@ntface Jordan got THAT penalty and screwed us

Old Swan is right on one of the main drags coming into Liverpool and from 9am there was a stream of Scottish flags, banners and pissedup jocks all over the place.

I was wondering how they d all got tickets when it was supposed to be a HOME game for us as CARDIFF was building the stadium at that time and it was deemed suitable to hold it at Anfield as Wales was only 30 minutes away. Wrong, as it seemed the Jocks had been buying up tickets from GOGS all day and the ground was a teeming mass of lions rampant and ST Andrew s cross. as a Welshman ,it was sickening. The only atmosphere Ive felt like it was Liverpool v St Etienne (we weren't playing that Tuesday) when I thought my ear drums had burst.

There were scots left for days after in the City recovering and as I recall no trouble at all.

No rangers flags, no Celtic,Aberdeen, Hearts,Hibs or Clyde ,just some with pubs emblazoned on them.

To see our fractured, toytown, parochial Swansea Cardiff shyute is sad although its probably not as bad these days but if we did qualify I d wager a bar full of Cardiff Swansea wouldn't be all about supporting the COUNTRY and the game they re there to see

simple reason celtic follow ROE is because they are at heart Irish.

Its down to the plantation effect all those centuries ago.

Anyway back to the game tonight according to Wiki Andorra have only ever one one competitive game and their record win is 2:0 against Albania in 2002. God help us if they even manage a draw - we'll be the laughing stock of Europe.

The game was not played at Anfield because Cardiff was building a new stadium.

It was played at Anfield because Wales was banned by UEFA/FIFA from playing anywhere within 50 miles of Cardiff due to the previous riot when we was on the verge of winning the European championships [football was enjoying a high water mark with many teams across the world having some of their greatest ever sides all at the same time - that still holds true to this day], Wales was a major threat to the world order], Wales being such a small country that ruling by the authorities basically put us in the sea or in a small ground/low population area or having to play our home game abroad and it cost us as we were better than Scotland [who incidentally really did think they were going to win the world cup having beaten Wales].

Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.

I've more confidence in the players than the manager, lets hope we can do it this time.

A lot of Rangers follow Northern Ireland, Celtic the Republic and Aberdeen, the Dundee's and most of the other Scots clubs follow Scotland.
