Total and utter sickener if you were at the game today to see the three points p-ssed away in the dying seconds. In that five minutes of added time, Bright, Chair and Eze kept the ball close to their goal for four and a half of it, leaving the defence about thirty seconds to deal with one long speculative ball into the box.
And they stuffed it up.

Do you know what ? You are right , 1 fking attempt they had in those 5 mins and they scored from a 9 foot defender left on his own with his feet ?
No fking excuse for that even if the w@nkstain of a ref played an extra 20 mins

Sloppiness from Rangers.

From that poor miss from Hugill at1-0 and conceding in extra time after we had two corners. This shabby stuff is a shame because it undoes the good work that is evident. If you had the likes of a Smithies between the sticks and a Dunne or Hill at the back; you’re several points and places better off.

It’s not in need of open-heart surgery, but certainly a little nip and tuck would lift everything.

Can’t remember a big Hugill miss at 1-0 but do remember Wells having 15 mins to pick a corner in a one on one situation before shooting straight at their keeper!

If you want a symptom of that, see middle-aged Charlton fans singing about Grenfell on the way into the ground.

Obviously a sickener and it’s easy to be reactionary but please someone tell me how Cameron keeps getting picked? I appreciate Ball and Scowen aren’t Fernandinho but he’s just dreadful with and without the ball in my humble opinion. Just don’t see what he brings at all.

FFS this is a bloody match thread for QPR v Charlton. Could people please have the decency to keep their political rants for the threads that are designed for that purpose.

Coming out of the ground I heard Charlton supporters say, 'coo, we got away with that didn't we!?' They were right, thanks to our generosity in what seemed like >5mins. There seemed to be a strange delay by them taking a throw in near Ellerslie R block, which might have added an extra minute? I guess I'm philosophical and although I rue the missed chances, there were many delightful moments, especially from Eze and BOS. Several other good performances as well. Good to get a man hug from Norf and exchange some happy tales with Brian Mc

As Warburton has said many times we defend all over the pitch. If we keep the ball in their half, instead of going for a third goal with shots from outfield the box and thereby giving them the ball. We win. Very naive in injury time.

I like MW but I'm not buying this argument. In stoppage time we practically kept the ball in their half for 4.5 mins, the defence only had to do their job for 30 seconds and they couldn't manage that. Any manager worth his salt starts by making a team organised and hard to beat, then you add attacking intent. MW appears to favour the opposite approach in the vein hope that we score more than the opposition. You simply can't concede at least 2 goals every match and expect to win football matches.

My point was if we just pass the ball around or take it into the corners. We win the game . Taking pot shots from 20 yards and giving the ball straight to third keeper means we have to defend again. It happened two or three times in injury time. They can't score if we have the ball! It's turning into a really frustrating season. Most of us had us down for a relegation battle, me included. Yet here we are so close to breaking into the play off spots yet time after time when we look like we are, we find a way of shooting ourselves in the foot.

Reality check; there are 2 teams out there striving to win a football match. The idea that the QPR forwards are going to somehow keep possession in the last third for 90 minutes in order to protect defenders from doing their jobs is frankly laughable.

We've scored 5 goals in the last 2 matches yet picked up 1 solitary point. The problem is simple - we have defenders and holding midfielders who can't defend. Now can MW please get on with the business of teaching them how to do what they are paid handsomely for instead of relying on defending from the front.
