Hornets on Sunday 19:31 - Feb 24 with 293688 views | EllDale | They’re tweeting that their “matchday operations” are being restricted for the home game against Barrow on Sunday for reasons that they don’t want to divulge at the moment. The bottom line is that the crowd capacity is limited to 920 and there will be no cash admissions on the day. Wonder what that’s all about?
Hornets on Sunday on 17:41 - Aug 4 with 4133 views | Sandyman | "Following a request by the CEO of Rochdale Council to both parties to do our best to agree a commercial agreement which covered all safety considerations and in the spirit of a working relationship, Head of Terms for the international fixture were provided by RAFC to Andy Mazey and Steve Kerr of Rochdale Hornets in March 2022. These terms were never accepted. Instead on 19 April 2022, Rochdale Hornets chose to launch a legal action under the 2016 Lease against RAFC relating to the fixture pre-action letter of claim sent in accordance with the Practice Direction Pre-Action Conduct and Protocols of the Civil Procedure Rules 1998. That legal action was subsequently withdrawn by Rochdale Hornets on 21 June 2022, since as there was no commercial agreement ever in place to host an international fixture and that the fixture was not covered by the 2016 Lease, there was and is no obligation forced on RAFC to host an international fixture without full safety provisions being in place alongside due commercial compensation for all costs doing so given the safety certificate for the international fixture and thus responsibilities under it all fall on RAFC."

Hornets on Sunday on 19:48 - Aug 4 with 3896 views | EllDale | I have to tread very carefully here because of laws relating to defamation. But perhaps I could be right in surmising that tickets were sold for the original game for which money wasn’t refunded as the purchasers were told that they would valid for a rearranged date?
Hornets on Sunday on 19:43 - Aug 7 with 3357 views | kel | I see the ever professional Chairman of Hornets is at it again from his holiday arguing with Hornets fans. Seems the CEO is cut from the same cloth too. “Gladly walk away”. Hmmmmm.
Hornets on Sunday on 19:43 - Aug 7 with 3356 views | EllDale | Sorry (yet again) for bumping this thread but there’s an amazing spat going on on Twitter at the moment between the Hornets chairman, the CEO, a sponsor and a couple of supporters. Quite entertaining.
Hornets on Sunday on 19:43 - Aug 7 with 3356 views | HullDale | If you want a distraction from our match yesterday, I can highly recommend a bag of popcorn and a venture onto the Hornet's Chairman & CEO twitter accounts. Its come out that they sacked the old manager (not mutual consent) via a phone call, neither Andy Mazey or Steve Kerr went to their game today, and Andy is now arguing with supporters and sponsors in public. AM "First I’ve seen or heard of you here in my time at the club by the way? What’s your season ticket number? how many games have you bought a ticket for this year? Do you sponsor a player? @HornetsAll member? Lottery?" Hornets fan reply "Brought my lad to every home match pal and you’ve said hello to me when I’ve been in the company of a few ex players and sponsors. And I took my son to the last @HornetsAll BBQ you weren’t there though ? How much of your own money has gone into @RochdaleHornets ?"

I've just seen that - unbelievable. The guy clearly thinks he is bigger than the club. The last couple of hours will do Mazey & co more damage than anything over the last few weeks related to the football club. Its one thing going against your landlord publicly with 'dubious' versions of events... its a whole other level going at fans and sponsors with threats like that. Wow.

Another really bad weekend of results for Hornets and a massive swing in the points differential. Looking at the table the best they look to hope to finish will be 4th or 5th and to do that they will have to beat Crusaders away from home and Keighley at home. Table: 1st Keighley - P16 - 32 points (+657) 2nd Crusaders P17 - 28 points (+344) 3rd Swinton P16 - 24 points (+348) 4th Doncaster P16 - 24 points (+222) 5th Hornets P16 - 22 points (+179) 6th Hunslet P16 - 17 points (+81) Hornets remaining 4 games: Cornwall (h) Crusaders (a) Wales (h) Keighley (h) Hornets can't now win the league but are guaranteed a playoff place. Someone should advise Andy Mazey to turn his Twitter off for a few days.

He wants out, that’s now perfectly clear. That’s why he continues to slate Hornets fans on Twitter so he can blame them along with the football club when he walks. Wake up Hornets fans ffs.

That is exactly how I'm reading it now. 'The position at Spotland is untenable because the landlord is rigorously enforcing the lease' 'We didn't achieve promotion because of the disciplinary issues under Calland' 'Abuse and accusations on social media are making my position untenable'

They have woke up….they have stayed away in large numbers. It is the only thing they can do. Him and his cronies have 100% control. The only hope for the future is someone takes him up on willing to give it up. Then we would see what price he would be asking….More than the 200 quid he bought it for I expect.

Cornwall next Sunday pioneer and lunchtime kick off means it will just be home fans. What's the attendance likely to be for that? 100?

AM will do his usual trick and delete or edit his replies, did exactly the same last week when I called him out on a few things, not the brightest bulb bless him, he also claims that the figures the FC published are inaccurate and also mentioned one of the statements was correct and one incorrect, id even question what day he said it was...

Seems like a very similar situation that played out at Swinton. A group of Swinton fans (allegedly) had to cobble £50k together to buy Andy & co out. Spoke to a Swinton supporting mate of mine recently who’s of the opinion that they took every penny out (& more) that they put in.

Thats his usual trick, gets all big and bold then deletes the stuff straight away, just a shame some of us have various screen shots of his previous posts made...👀 [Post edited 8 Aug 2022 12:10]
