Bristol City v Swansea City : Matchday Thread UPDATED ! 11:05 - Oct 25 with 18740 viewsNotLoyal

It’s the Cardiff v Bristol City derby
The biggest derby in Canton super Spiely but with no video proof.

Swansea City may well turn up as well, just to add some style.

Guys, Bristol were set up to stop us getting through the channels quickly which they did very well. A mistake from us for the goal and a below par performance from a few players and we can thank our subs for rescuing a point.

A below par performance and still the swans earn a point.
This isn’t a sprint. 👍

It’s so easy to gloss over and not address the gargantuan elephant in the room.

I’m sure the narrative will be “decent point away from home” or some rubbish about “spirit”. The fact is, people should be furious with this performance. Who knows what our side will be like next year and what players we may lose, we have one hell of a chance to go up this year and we are being handicapped AGAIN by this ludicrous style.

I’m lost for words how the Martin fans aren’t standing up for the club a bit more and saying “hang on a minute, why has he gone back to this after we just championed his ability to learn”.

Some honesty needed now.

On the surface it’s actually a decent result, in reality however it feels like the most gut wrenching defeat knowing that this style is back and infecting the club again.

Honesty.
Jesus
No chance of that from me,
Have you seen what happens on here when one is.
It’s the same crew.
The same old song

A poor Bristol side with selection issues lucky to get a point ,as I saw it. When we feel like it,we can kill teams.

It is all about supporting Martin, nothing more, nothing less

Basically, why bring in players on loan then refuse to start them
None of Russy crew can answer that and chucking hate around doesn’t hide that simple fact

Two points lost

Point gained on the road when we played poorly and should’ve lost. Great run of games

just back. got away with one there. haven't read the thread but assume same old same old analysis. But felt we looked and played bang average, and very slow and ponderous. and am too old for this away fixture, might leave the youngsters get on with it in future years, as too many over excitable on both sides.

No we shouldn’t have lost.
They were hammered by sickness including a withdrawal right before the start .

We need to kill off teams. We should have out Cardiff to sleep after 30 mins.
We need to be merciless and quit the faff, which is still evident.
Benda saved us today,again.

Why is there no clamour for him to get a long contract as there is for Martin

Benda has had an appallingly bad deal with us and maybe people should bear that in mind .

One man only to blame for that

Not seen the game, but from a quick peruse of the matchday thread, I'd imagine it's a case of sorting out the wingbacks again. Oko Flex and Manning to start please.

Whine when we win. Whine when we draw. Whine extra hard when we lose.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Were you actually watching the game ?
Did you miss the opportunities they had before Martin rejigged it at half time ?
Could have been another Burnley half time score.
No divine right to win.
All points count at the end of the season.
Most were happy to take a point from that game - probably the most we deserved

No team is going to go through the season winning well every game. We were poor. Outplayed leading up to their 1st goal, played better after that and deserved the goal. Could’ve won it.
Not great performance, but point away is always good.

Martin will take us up, especially if we strengthen in January

Not our best toady, but at least now we keep trying, watched on the red button, where the commentary nearly sent me too sleep, drawl drawl. plus no replays.

Fair result overall , our next local derby isn't always the best place for us, and with Marriner who has a tendency to "let things go" I would have been happy with a draw.

We can also see what's in reserve , and what we are capable of, hopefully itll all come together at the right time.

You can only lose something that you had in the first place, we were never ahead and was 1-0 down so it's definetly a point gained.

My answer to the loans, they were brought in to strengthen the squad.........squad strength is a massive thing in today's game.

Hate needs to be created before it can be thrown around.

Hopefully I have covered all bases there OHL.

If it was on target from Oli's shot then you'd have a hard job taking it off him.
