Just watched the ‘Ministry of ungentlemanly warfare’

If you haven’t you really have to. Based on how the SAS a became a good idea, gripping, especially the assault on the Germans.

Swans go shopping out east
at 17:07 17 Sep 2024

OS

This exciting initiative, for boys aged six to eight, will see the opening of four regional centres, strategically located in Swansea, Carmarthen, Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT), and Cardiff.

Each centre will look to host 16 to 18 players per age group, with the initiative prioritising smaller, more focused groups to maximise individual player development and attention.

The centres have been launched in order to help the club to continue to identify, nurture and develop young football talent within local regions, and provide a high-quality training programme which is aligned with the club's overarching philosophies on and off the field.

Our coaches and staff will strive to instil the club's core values into our young players, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary fundamental skills and mindset to progress through our player development pathway, with the goal of ultimately producing well-rounded individuals and elite footballers capable of contributing to Swansea City.

Ronald

Across England's top four tiers so far this weekend, no player has won more duels than Swansea City's Ronald (16).

In their 1-0 win over Norwich, the Brazilian also recorded the joint-most successful dribbles (4) and tackles (6) of any player. #Swans

This Saturday ?

Eom and Zan got game time for their respective countries during the break.

Bar Ollie and Ben who were with Wales and come back properly in the morning, the others have had time to get to know things better.

What do we expect this Saturday ?

I will add it’s looking like Cullen is out.

Should we continue to cover the national team ?
at 17:11 10 Sep 2024

There’s no reward for it that’s for sure, Phil on PS gave up on it. In a way I don’t blame him. We do have a bit of help and there’s a fair few who travel who are on here. And the coverage over this international break, especially pre match, is that something you want to continue ?

Your thoughts ?

Jones completes his loan move
at 12:58 10 Sep 2024

OS

Swansea City defender Harry Jones has returned to Weymouth on loan for the 2024-25 season.

The full-back or centre-back spent time with the National League South outfit last term, and he will now play out the remainder of the new campaign at the Bob Lucas Stadium.

Jones’ loan move was agreed and completed prior to the end of the recent transfer window, but he initially remained in Swansea to complete his rehabilitation from injury.

The right-sided player signed for the Swans following his departure from Arsenal in the summer of 2020.

After a brief stint with Peterborough United, Cambridgeshire-born Jones joined the Gunners at the age of seven; spending nine years in their academy.

Following an impressive start to the 2020-21 season - in which he regularly appeared for the under-23s - he signed his first professional contract with the Swans in December 2020.

Jones went on to spend the second half of the 2021-22 campaign on loan at Barry Town United.

Everyone at Swansea City wishes Harry all the best during his loan spell.
