I can see where you are coming from, but previous governments have prevented asylum seekers working so that there isn’t an economic incentive to come here. The rationale is that if they can’t work, earn money etc then there is less of an incentive for others to make the trip. There are currently a couple of million out of work, maybe some of the unemployed could do this work. | | | |
