Montero on 23:10 - Aug 17 with 3335 views | Tummer_from_Texas | I could see leaving him out vs PNE because we had and kept the lead at halftime, but I really thought he would've been a good sub tonight.

Montero on 23:12 - Aug 17 with 3315 views | Captain_Sham | Well they were kicking fk out of us, and Montero managed to tackle himself and put himself out of action for three months, 5 mins after returning from another lengthy layoff, two seasons back, so you do the math(s) [Post edited 17 Aug 2018 23:16]

Not much point in him being here in the Championship if we're not going to play him against teams who are kicking fk out of us.

Montero on 23:20 - Aug 17 with 3229 views | monmouth | That really wasn’t his type of game. They weren’t giving any space out wide. Also I’m sure potter is still trying players out. We’d definitely accept an offer though, I’m sure. Narsingh too. Both better attacking wingers than Asoro or McKay for me.

Montero on 23:26 - Aug 17 with 3148 views | Jack1 | Definitely not his game tonight. They limited us very well when we went forward. They went deep in numbers. Our players didn't seem to know what to do. Anyhow, a good point and more importantly a good learning curve.

Montero on 23:41 - Aug 17 with 3015 views | TenbySwan | We were being overrun in midfield and he's not the player for that battle. Crimes a more defensive sub but we have to back the manager.

I was looking for both Dhanda and Montero, but think Potter was looking for a point away. Fair enough, but the game was a dire watch, low in quality, and just a little dispiriting to be honest. Connor Roberts' flick on was awesome though.

Montero on 00:12 - Aug 18 with 2863 views | Gaz_M | They defended the wide areas very well. No point bringing him on. In hindsight, Dhanda would have been a better choice than D James however.

He wont be here soon as him, Dyer, Narsingh and Routledge will be loaned out.Options for all of them I heard...possibly Naughton and Bony too. None are likely to be involved as Potter told not to use them.

That's fine - don't have a problem with that. As long as the loan fee/wages is used to back Potter with the signings he wants. Or will it just be more money saved for the hedge fund investors and dividends.

There is absolutely no sense in that, he could get injured taking a shower, going shopping or in any of a hundred scenarios......or he could play regularly (if his form is good) and be a major weapon for us. For all we know he is carrying a knock of some sort from the first game, lets face it, Fer isn't 100% but still has to be used. It's something we all know, we are very thin on the ground. If Mulder, McBurnie or VdH get injured or suspended we are screwed, if all 3 are out......
