Gone to torquay on loan. Good move for a decent prospect, playing under a good manager at that level. |

Connor had a nightmare today bless him. John was excellent. |

How many times have we seen this? Brendan and the famous experiment against Wolves, Garry Monk's diamond, Carlos' ....well, who knows what he was doing, and now this shit with Potter. Graham, butt, stick with some form of 433. It's what works. |

Excellent performance again from the boy. By some distance our best midfielder. Just need another two of a similar quality. |

Another excellent away display from a group of young lads who will learn a lot from that. The goalie situation is baffling, but that kind of performance has been missing for a good few years. Up ah Swans |

A noticeable drop in standard in terms of officials already. |
| Forum Thread | Asoro is appalling. at 22:01 18 Sep 2018
Needs a season in the under 23's. I can't understand why Narsingh doesn't get a game if what we're wanting is raw pace. They've got similar games on paper, but Narsingh is superior in every area of the game. |
| Forum Thread | Grimes at 22:00 18 Sep 2018
Played himself into being first choice, delighted for him too. He's showed a few different aspects to his game which is nice to see. Range of passing is good, can dictate play well and surprisingly he's got a bite of bite and gets stuck in when needed. I'd like to see what a midfield trio of Fer, Grimes and Celina would produce. It would certainly have a lot of balance. |
| Forum Thread | Some excellent performances tonight at 21:21 28 Aug 2018
Very promising signs. Dhanda we already had an idea would be good, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of Harries defensively and on the ball. James always a threat, but lacks that composure in front of goal. |

Looking the average age of the team and the amount of experience they’ve had, super. Rodon despite his error for their second goal looks like a top prospect. We saw his increased confidence on the ball. Ive watched him play a few times for the u23s and never thought him anything special with the ball but looks good at this level. |
| Forum Thread | Andre Ayew at 17:11 3 Mar 2018
What a difference he made. He's not the most dynamic player, but he's aggressive and he's always a threat. We're a very, very different proposition when he's on the pitch compared to Dyer fvcking about. |
| Forum Thread | Optimism the order of the day at 12:07 28 Dec 2017
Time to get behind the new manager. Club is in a sticky patch to say the least, and the last thing we want is any hint of negativity from the fans. A history of playing excellent, attacking football and has made some good purchases along the way. LETS GO. |
| Forum Thread | Tom Carroll at 16:57 21 Oct 2017
What a poor season he's having. He was obviously very, very limited in what he can do based on last season's evidence. But this year he's struggling big time. Struggling to keep the ball unless it's a sideways pass, no imagination, no right foot, and his set pieces are f*cking farcical. Needs to pull his finger out. A championship player. |
| Forum Thread | As effective as the narrow formations can be... at 09:11 17 Sep 2017
I'm sure I'm not the only one hankering back to the days of 4231/433 and playing with width. I do feel however, that Paul Clements has been dealt a tough deal. Evidence would suggest he's very much a 433 man, so I don't think the switch to the narrow formations is done out of choice, but out of being left high and dry by the transfers window and not having any wingers (of a reasonable standard) to call on. So I'm hopeful that it's enforced decision that we'll see the end of come January. |
| Forum Thread | Lacking magic/sparkle still at 16:57 26 Aug 2017
Good performance, and the shift to 532 is necessary. Keeping it solid and utilising our pace and power up top. I don't think it's long-term what Clement will look to do. Given that he's never worked at a club using the system, and never used it at Derby either. What we're now lacking is some genuine pace and trickery on the wings. Think a Montero/Pablo Hernandez/Barrow/Messi-in-one type job. |

A player who's come in for a lot of criticism this season - some deserved, most undeserved. He had a superb game this evening. Sharp in the tackle (embarrassing Cork showing how it's done), good on the ball, and drove forward at times. He's already been a good signing. Hopefully he continues to improve under a proper manager. |
| Forum Thread | Ben Davies at 09:44 4 Nov 2013
In a formation where our fullbacks are such an important offensive weapon, it's plain to see part of the reason why we're struggling a little. Taylor is a decent enough lower-end PL player, but he's severely lacking in any offensive ability or drive. Davies has that ability to both go past players himself, and make those incisive forward passes - Taylor just hasn't got that in his locker unfortunately. Of course Taylor isn't helped by the woefully out of form Wayne Routledge 'playing' in front of him, but even at the height of Sinclair's powers he never really offered that offensive threat Rangel is capable of on the opposite flank. |
