Coleman on Oxford Uni platform on youtube. He comes across very well, keeps a positive outlook and speaks highly of his time at Wales.
Even mentions Bob Bradley and suggests that the men who appointed him should own up to their part in the appointment.
Pullis is also given the opportunity to speak on the Cambridge Uni platform. Has had major success but a real different character to Coleman though both come across as good team managers.
Both worth watching over a spare hour or two. Very good managers with some similarities and some differences.
Football is a big talking point at the two top Unis and this is clearly debated throughout the various debates.
The most compelling comment from Chris for me is the gap that has developed between the fan and the player esp. in relation to the wages.
Cooper has been asking Byers to man up and get stuck in and do more of the dirty work in midfield. Byers has the attributes and is also gifted in attack. A fairly good payback tonight for the manager with Byers going in a little late and drawing a red card. Good sub for Celina who would be unlikely to get Chabs wound up or play a decisive role in a niggly physical match. Same goes for Fulton as a starter who scored. I would say Cooper made a midfield plan that paid off this time and has pinpointed an improvement in Byers that has had an impact.
Just caught myself looking up the table and getting that feeling we have enjoyed for over a decade including the time we had a 6 foot 5 trinidadian and another trini who scored 20 plus.
The start of this season has been a real tester but it looks like our new boys are getting us back on form.
Got odds of 9:1 before the game Spent it in a few hours after the game Watched Collins get sent of with a West Ham mate Best night out in a while Two more games and 9 points as predicted
We didn't play all that well to be fair, more to come
I think it is fair to say most would have gone for the zaha/jones
i rated emnes as one of the best performers in the limited time he had with us he is a more useful to us than zaha and we have hernandez back
ngog has some early pedigree and offers us some pace jones will never be a swansea player and we have bony and michu who are always going to start ahead of jones
playing emnes and ngog up front will give us a lot more mobility which I think we need
the static attack v hammers needs more pace and now we have dyer routs ngog emnes with genuine pace up front which I feel we have lacked
