Man City are throwing in Noel Gallagher and Billy Duffy as part of the Carrington deal.

And Eddy Large.

Poll: What is it to be then?

"I really really wish I could be somewhere else than here"

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Acts are ok but not exactly liquid gold are they?

Good effort if they pull it off.

Odd mixture of acts, but beggers can't be choosers.

Poll: DF in or out

"BL9 is the result of a collaboration between Bury FC’s Chairman Stewart Day and music industry professional Andrew Brooks."

Does he ever not get his name associated with something the Buckets do? Every time they sign a new player, a sponsor, an bleedin' autograph he is there. "Today Bury FC bought some milk from Tesco, Chairman Stewart Day said...".

There's a lot of character chairmen in Football. Now that bottle of Milk has more charisma than Day, but I've never seen a Chairman so keen of the spotlight. I believe he's been on TalkSport a bit. Now I don't own a White Transit Van and therefore don't listen to TalkSport but apparently it was a legendary performance of self-promotion.

I think the gig is a good idea. Whereas our Indie Night are pretty much separate from the club, this sounds like it'll attract the local community, people who probably don't watch the Buckets and maybe it'll attract a few to watch. It's not ideal for their pitch, but I'm sure they can work around it.

Been to one of these at Huddersfield years ago, the pitch is well protected if done properly.....

The Farm played at that one too I think, but they were current at the time.

All I remember is playing Rotherham the day after U2 played and the pitch was a nightmare.
Didn't Bury pay a small fortune to have their pitch redone, will this concert raise enough profit to fix the pitch??
