Reports from PLZ had suggested that the Swans had lodged a bid with the capital side.
However, it is understood that while the Championship side made an enquiry they were told £5million was the valuation of the Scotland cap.

Maybe it depends on us selling Grimes and Roberts? They run a tight ship financially.
For me Piroe looks good enough to be a starter, if we got Nisbet they should both start. If the fee for Nisbet is really 5 million though, will we pay it even if we do sell Grimes and Roberts? |  |

Yeah I agree, but I think it's more likely to be the other way round if anything.
However, I can't see Conor fitting in to Dyche's back 4. He's better off waiting for a club who plays in the way he likes. They will come along. |

What does he bring to the table in terms of all round play? Just looked on Wikipedia, 15 goals in 35 games in the SPL is impressive, but is it £5m impressive?
Two prolific seasons at Raith and Dunfermline before that. Is he a poacher, or someone who creates chances too? I’d expect quite a lot for that kind of money. |

Ah I really like Dyche. I think he's honest and quite funny.
I also rate him as a manager. Look what he's done with Burnley. They are consistently top half in the prem.
Not a lover of his style of play though, and I doubt Conor would be either. | |

Concerning today that there seems to be more talk of our players leaving rather than signings. Looks like the yank fire sale on the last day could be well under way.... Last day will always equal less value!
So 3 players needed plus 2/3 players leaving.....as Martin said, we need players and we will replace who leaves, could be around 6 new faces in tomorrow!

I agree, but it all seems so last minute, in trying to rush deals through why leave it to last minute, if the players we have talked/talking to are dragging their feet hoping for better to come in for them and we are their last option it doesn't bode well, I'm just surmising on that as I don't know if that is the case, obviously. | |

Only positive spin you can put on it is we are trying to balance the wages bill so need to clarify who is going out - be it loan or permanent - in order to finalise the ins.
Plus I guess with the players given extra time off due to our Covid issue no-one is coming back into the training facilities until Wednesday. | | | |
