Feel free to ban me for doing such a thing, but are we all keeping 'up to date' with their news.

Apparently 'Bury Are Back' and there will be a 'Revolution at Gigg Lane'.

Oh I wish every club could have someone to pay off their ridiculous spending debts.

It's almost astounding that an opening statement would make mention of Championship football.

Some cracking spelling in the rush to get it online too. The webmaster will be very furstrated.

So as the Bury fans on here knew all about it, what's the background story?

1 of 6 backing the club, his resume will be online tomorrow and the new board announced over the week.

Aim is Championship within 5 years and money will be spent on the stadium and training facilities. Manager has budget and all loans are paid off in full.

Entrance prices and season tickets to be reduced over the next week as well.

Scouting pool extended and saying we will sign the best players available (only if it is right for the club)

Why would anyone want to announce the Championship as an aim at the start?

And what's so wrong with the ground that it needs money spent on it? And again why mention that now? The main aim should be a steady season and getting the club in a solid position for the future, whatever level they're playing at.

Feel free to ask him the following questions:
where's the money coming from?
Is any money being given to the club or is he loaning it to the club?
Is this an investment and how does he expect to see a return on that investment?
Why Bury?

As I suspected, you and that other tosser who frequent our board knew fook all about it/him, as what you have posted is nothing new.
You have spent a week tossing off thinking the saudi oil clan are coming to turn shitty bury into the next man city, instead you get some bloke no one has ever heard of, who has to get his cv out and probably hasn't got ten bob to rub together.

He mentioned it while in charge of a club that kept its finances in order, while developing players to sell and replacing them with others who took the side on to greater heights.

His record as a manager suggests he knows the football side of the business and thus can make such statements, what is the reasoning behind the one on Bury's website?

When will Messi be signing ?

Will the supporters need to join the 'Official Giggle Tours Travel Club' to be able to follow their team in Europe ?

Will there be a reduction in the number of coins thrown at away supporters ?

How many pies can we get for 3 Euros when travelling to Ferencvaros and will the club subsidise the cost ?

All these things need to be addressed before the deal can be seen as credible.

He had a seven year plan. We were all sensible enough to realise he'd be off to another club before it was completed.

Doing a little research It appears that Mr Day is 32 years old and that his tenure as a Director of his current property company is 3 months. This company came into being on 11th March 2013. He also appears to be a director of another company which came into being on 23rd May with an issued share capital of £4.

surely hitting the wall twice in ten years would lead to being naturally suspicious as a default setting rather than jumping in feet first. I take on board that playing football next season is in itself a decent starting point, but there's been that many dodgy types abusing football clubs over the years that there has to be suspicions over anyone getting involved financially in a football club that would find it very difficult to be profitable, especially when that person is from out of town with no prior association with the club. If it does go wrong, let's hope no one comes out with the usual "you can't blame the fans".

The £4 share capital company: What's it called?

Sounds like a vehicle designed to buy a football club plus its debts?

So lets see... a property developer who has "bought" the club which owns its own ground....seems like a reasonable bet he will get his money back if the playing side of things starts to go downhill (again).
