I know an awful lot of ST holders who are giving Spurs a miss this Sunday.
The kick-off time isn’t great, but it would have been full if we had a team and a style of playing that fans had faith in.

I have never liked Spurs as a club or their fans in fact it has bordered on "hatred" even though, they have historically played entertaining football and I thought Keith Burkinshaw (remember him during the McMenemy era) I had respect for.
The above said, whatever any of us ever thought of Spurs it is one of the fixtures that you could guarantee a sell out and a great atmosphere. This time there is complete indifference. The timing of the game etc is awful and on a night before school and people spending time and money on Christmas, but you are right, if we were remotely competitive people would have still turned up. I don't know what the ticket sales are like having said all that. | | | |

Yes it is £5 dearer than Brighton charged in the previous round when they hosted Liverpool but it is still cheaper than most clubs.
Yes the team has been poor this season, but this is a shot at glory, people are moaning about his season, but here is a real chance of reaching a semi final and people are boasting about giving it a miss all over social media as if it is a badge of honour.
If people want to make a stand, then why not stand by the Ted Bates Statue before the game and during it with the Sport Republic OUT &Sack Russell martin banners, now that would be a stand. | |

I think 26,000 for a cup game a week before the most expensive time of the year is good going . We’ve also got 3 league home games in 2 weeks .
Football is not cheap .
It’s not exactly a tie to get excited about either.

One can only hope that Liverpool assume a guaranteed stroll in to the semi-final and will put their reserve team out and we scraape through by a single goal, I mean we did give them a scare in the league and had the aidacity to take the lead for a while
