We got £8 million for Diallo???

Good lord.

I suppose we need to include loan fees, and they rarely seem to get disclosed…..

It seems that Caleta-Car deal is not exactly a loan deal after all, so you can add £5 million to the total.

The amount of money we are looking at for most of our team is staggering.

If these players are so good and marketable, how come they weren't good enough to help Saints survive in Premiership last year ?

That would be some deal for Lavia

The Caleta Car loan deal apparently has a guaranteed purchase clause, enabling his new club to pay for him in a few months rather than now.

So we could be said to have raked in around £90 million so far, also Tino Livramento was £32 million down payment plus add ons.

The sale of Lavia will take us through the £150 million mark, possibly up to £160 million

Tino has a widely reported sell on clause of 20%, so right now saints get about 26mill. Who knows what the sell on clauses are and whether they are achievable.
Calcar is a loan at the moment. If it becomes permanent I will update the totaliser.
Lavia is now meant to be going for 50 + 10mill of add ons. So again saints will right now get 40mill.
Grand total of about 134nill

The transfer totaliser should be the gross amount we receive, if you are going to deduct sell on payments, then you should include any that come in the other way, which is nearly impossible to do,

Gross fees are always quoted as there are many things that could reduce the gross, sell on payments being one, agents fees being another.

Caleta Car has been sold, its just that his new club want to put the payment later this season.

Ill stick with the popular way of totalling things up, which as it stands looks like being the figure i predicted of between £150-200 million, carry on shaving off a few quid here and there to make the club look worse

Caleta-car has been reported as a loan and then a purchase. So if money comes in it will next season.

As for the other two, saints are not getting 20% of the fees , with an another 18mill tied up in adds that never get exercised. So they won’t be getting that money this summer if ever .

I prefer to go with what is widely reported in the press.

You can add McCarthy to this list if the rumour on 'Newsnow' about Everton being interested is true.

Not sure we would get any money but I am fine with that.

If it is true, it proves there is a football god after all.

And after the owners take most of these funds to pay for last season's panic buys, how much is actually left in the pot for RM to spend?

Guarantee it's nowhere near the total.

Surely we save a shedload on salaries and what is the parachute payment worth?

A centre back/leader and an actual goalkeeper is what we need and surely the Sports Republic clowns have budgeted for that?

The only way we'll get another goalkeeper is if we manage to offload AM. They bought Lumley and they won't want 4 senior keepers so figure it out.

If we do manage to offload AM on the wages he's on that might be the best bit of business of all. But even then, I don't think they'll buy a no.1, they'll just buy a support act for Bazunu. We'll see.

Do we get as much as that?

Weren't City due a 25% cut, or was it 25% of any profit?

I guess if the latter, £43m would be about right....

Tella has gone for 20mill . Saints have brought in ~ 150mill covering last seasons wasteful spending. I think we can assume Adams, Tall Paul, Lyanco and Bella-kotcha will go as well.
Let’s hope some money is now spent on the team namely a striker

Looking at the squad you would happily lose the following :-
McCartney
Lyanco
Aribo
Tall Paul
Bree
Mara
Denpo
Bella Kotcha

Most of which came in last season and McCartney and Dnepo getting extentions
