This is truly shameful as this has been brought up literally hundreds of times since it was first disclosed you couldn't see them.
You've made mugs out of a lot of people and were happy to allow this myth to build and build and be used as another tool for fans not to trust the owners.
The real question is can we trust the Trust
I'm sorry but this is another clear example of why we can't.
It's a sham.
You're all out of time....the past was yours but the future's mine.
Have we got to the position yet that the Trust Director gets the management accounts but they don't give the level of detail that he needs to perform his fiduciary duty, and the yanks are refusing to give it without an NDA? Because that's where I thought we were headed yesterday on this, or had actually got to.
FAO Ux and the Trust. Why have you not told everyone it sees the Accounts?? on 20:09 - Feb 3 by _
I swear to you that this £70m I read on Twitter initially. Not a private message, just there for the whole world to read.
I put it on here as it made sense to me and I was surprised you confirmed it to be true.
I am confused was it a private message, something you read on Twitter ,someone's throwaway comment to reading Shakys spreadsheets where you got this figure? You keep changing your story

So The Res acknowledges that the £70 mill black hole (if that’s what it is) is down to the Directors. Not The Trust. Glad that one’s clarified (not that absolutely anyone thought any different)
We also already know (because the Yanks made this a stated precursor) that full (and not just monthly management accounts, which are one element only of any business) financial disclosure of all relevant financial matters would only be released to The Supporters Director on the basis of a Non Disclosure Agreement.
And to play the game here...even if The Trust have had sight of ongoing monthly management accounts (not any other accounting) what is it they’ve been expected to do about that, given the articles of association they’ve been left with after the sale to the Yanks effectively removed any actual veto powers anyway? Genuine question.
I’ll leave aside any commentary on which parties in this sorry fckn mess are those who should be the ones most Trusted of all
Oh,..Dave, what's occuring?

Why would the Trust be responsible for any debt or black holes the club may have? Stupid comment..
But the one aspect of all this is forget the figure of 70m for one second and concentrate instead on the potential that our club is really in a bit of trouble.
Ux hasn't denied this has he? He hasn't said anything like we're stable financially and he knows full well there's no money to siphon off and any last penny we can get our hands on is needed to keep us going.
This is why I messaged him yesterday because I'm fed up of fans thinking the club are only selling players to make a few quid.
That just isn't true.
Ux said he wishes the Americans would just open up about our plight so we all could know the real truth, instead of so many making things up. Ux, and the Trust know our situation is poor.
Now he also says that Shaky isn't helping the Trust and OK. I'll believe that, but I can't get my head around why he's so quiet on here these days, especially in threads like this. He has made it quite clear over the years what he thinks about Sumbler, but of late, he's been quite pally, they send private emails back and forth
So there you have it. If Shaky was anything else other than a sly old twicer he'd be along to explain why the Americans might be making unpopular decisions to keep us afloat but he's not.
And I can't work out why. Maybe Ux doesn't know he's dealing with Sumbler, I don't know, but something isn't right.
You're all out of time....the past was yours but the future's mine.

Is this the same Shaky analysis and spreadsheets that you and E20 ridiculed??
Well yes and no. Most of the ridiculing was because of his infatuation with Transfer Market but yes, to a degree I also scoffed at how much he thought we were in debt.
I'm worried I underestimated him and our situation

Can I ask how you know one person is sending private emails to another?
Just wondering.

Both. I saw a tweet and I sent a message and got one back. I also have Shaky's analysis very much in mind.
So no changing the story here. Maybe you can't understand simple stuff.

Aha. Something I did actually say. The transparency thing anyway.
I've said it to the Americans I've spoken to too. I don't know whoever has advised them on how to deal with the fans and the Trust but they've been horrendously advised. They would have a much easier run if they were transparent and open with the fans. Why they don't is beyond me.
You won't find anyone on the Trust saying that the garden is rosy. You'll also not hear anyone from the Trust saying that prudent financial decisions need to be taken to ensure the long-term future of the club. You also won't hear anyone anyone from the Trust putting out confidential figures either but that's by the by. With relegation comes tough decisions, and they get tougher every season you stay down.
However, and this is really fookin important, the Trust can't dispel a lot of myths because we don't have access to the full information necessary to do so. You may not agree with that, but ask anyone with a financial background how important detail is. It's everything. Transparency from owners to Trust, and transparency from owners to fans. We can only say what we can know otherwise we can look very stupid if info comes to light.

Have we got to the position yet that the Trust Director gets the management accounts but they don't give the level of detail that he needs to perform his fiduciary duty, and the yanks are refusing to give it without an NDA? Because that's where I thought we were headed yesterday on this, or had actually got to.
That's the substance of the issue isn't it?
I think we’re beyond that stage now - see Eddie’s extract.

This thread is being derailed... the main point here is:
So why not let the Trust financial group see the full and proper set of accounts? The ones that need to be filed and legally reported.
Something stinks about the whole thing. Fans on here trying again to make direct attacks on the Trust, just when the threat of legal action is coming to a head Fans who seem to know a lot more than they are letting on. Unless they're being fed bullsh1te and swallowing it hook line and sinker. Next Trust Forum is going to be interesting, as I expect everyone making allegations either way to attend and raise them
Maybe it's time the Trust as a major shareholder called financial foul and brought an outside legal agency in to check everything . That would sort the bullsh1te out one way or the other
If you wake up breathing, thats a good start to your day and you'll make many thousands of people envious.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

The Trust say they see the monthly management accounts, but it's the bit below the green circle is the info they say they still don't have visibility of.

Voted for legal last time and as of yet nothing has changed my mind. In fact, it's going to take a lot more than the unfounded allegations going around to make me change my mind.
So come on. Scottish Eddie/ 2nd coming / all the other Beaky, ex board, present board defenders Put up the solid evidence to make us all forget about voting for legal.
