Okay possible wasn't the best term to use there, as forms of genocide took place, on both sides, indiscriminate killing of both adults and children (scalpings a common thing by the tribal sides on both opposing tribes and European settlers). It still does not change the fact that other factors were as important, if not more so on the decline of native tribes in the area.
