I dunno , Emnes has done everything asked of him and done his job when called upon. It's not his place to not pick up the wages we contracted him on.
The bigger question is why did the board really want him.

Yes, I think with Ayew going, we would definitely need to replace his goals with more Tha just Oliveira. As much as I like Chadli, I can't see him getting 15 goals.
I don't think Ayew would have got all the goals he did on the wing tho so as long as we got a striker who can get 15+ goals then 8+ goals off Chadli would be an upgrade on last season

I'm keen on Llorente, but he is a bit of a gamble. Would feel better with either Ayew staying or a better back-up than Oliveira - meaning somebody with some kind of goal scoring record. I see Chadli more as a wide man who can chip in with a few goals than a striker.
Well he's a gamble but now he's a player with a point to prove and an opportunity to stick two fingers up at Sevilla by proving himself in the PL. He'll get far more worldwide exposure playing for us and banging them in than languishing in the reserves at Sevilla.

He didn't want to come before but now he's dropped down the pecking order he's keen. I'd rather we look elsewhere.

Let's be honest here, I'm sure lorente like most of us, would prefer to be closer to home and not change cultures but he can't do that then like most of us he takes the best offer elsewhere.
I would love to see him playing for us, I think he would be a cracking signing myself.

Let's be honest here, I'm sure lorente like most of us, would prefer to be closer to home and not change cultures but he can't do that then like most of us he takes the best offer elsewhere.
I would love to see him playing for us, I think he would be a cracking signing myself.
His wages are 4.5m euros a year. we would surely have had to agree to match that for him too ask Seville to release him for nothing. As seems to be the case. If it is, then i sincerely hope we haven't offered him any more than a two year deal.
His goalscoring record at Juventus is pretty decent around 1 in every 3 appearances not too bad considering they had other quality forwards during his tenure like Tevez & Morata so he wouldn't had exactly been completing 90 minutes every game.
Think he'd be a fantastic signing.

My point is I don't care what he is paid, the fact we have agreed terms to could mean anything, but 'agreed terms' does mean exactly that - and more importantly what it does mean he is closer to signing now then ever.
