taewoo ? 21:39 - Feb 4 with 3604 views | actonman | now i dont want to start a thread slating a player, but from what i saw today i have hope that one day i could become a premier league footballer.
taewoo ? on 21:45 - Feb 4 with 2202 views | N12Hoop | Strikes me as a bloke who had conned his way into getting people to think he was a prof footballer, (a bit like that bloke at Soton a few years back who was meant to be George Weir's cousin or something and on his debut (as a sub) they subbed him!)

taewoo ? on 21:50 - Feb 4 with 2175 views | EalingHoop81 | Hoping he is just pretty rusty and will improve with games. Buz is like that too
taewoo ? on 22:02 - Feb 4 with 2140 views | rrrspricey | You two (not Ealing) are unbelievable. First two games in the toughest league in the world & you start slating him already. Do you really think Hughes just bought him on the strength of a "conned" reputation. Get behind you team when the going gets tough rather than looking for scapegoats.
taewoo ? on 22:04 - Feb 4 with 2139 views | WestonsuperR | Totally agree, we haven't got time to hope he gets better with games, shocking start, incredible to think that he is an AC Milan player.

I hate to pi55 on a parade but I expect Diakote will start the same way. Lack of games, touch, and playing in a lightening fast league are not what these guys r used to. It takes time to adapt to the prem. for this reason we need to introduce them slowly and keep 11 bl00dy men on the pitch. We have bigger probs than Taiwo at the mo!! Centre mid for example!
taewoo ? on 22:12 - Feb 4 with 2100 views | HollowayRanger | didnt seem at fault for either goal dont remember any dangerous crosses getting past him either,do remember him putting in a couple hard fast quality crosees near the end granted not set the world on fire but hasnt dived in seems able to pass and cross and was least of our troubles today young injured zamora injured (cramp) still had to go off cisse game ban barton cost first goal with poor pass hall left his man for 2nd goal ferdined had to cover two! derry burnt out i think all of them are more worrying then the leftback

i said the same weeks ago when faulin was getting carried off against mk (fk me how much did i take him for granted) as for taewoo (sp) didnt do anything wrong today as in get sent off and cost us the game but fk me for someone who plays at the san siro he looked completley overaud today (and villa by all accounts) i'm sure he will come good given time but time is not on our hands. I haven't seen much of him in the past but he was supposed to be awesome in France. But in truth - that's why he doesn't play at the San Siro!! He'll get better I'm sure. We have good options down the left now
taewoo ? on 23:10 - Feb 4 with 1969 views | Neil_SI | What exactly did people not like about his performance? I thought he played pretty well, some of his passing to the strikers and front men was excellent, and it's still early days and he'll need time to adjust and get back up to speed considering he's not played a lot over recent months.

I'm not convinced. Seems to hesitate at times. A bit like Connoly used to do. Hopefully he'll improve but at the minute I think he's shaky.
taewoo ? on 23:55 - Feb 4 with 1900 views | antoknee64 | He does speak French though
taewoo ? on 23:55 - Feb 4 with 1899 views | parker64 | Thought he did okay. The problem was on the other side. Jarvis had a good game.
taewoo ? on 00:00 - Feb 5 with 1886 views | ColombiR | "now i dont want to start a thread slating a player" So why did you? Agree he looks slightly tentative, but some dangerous crosses and we should give him more time. Don't gain anything with OTT threads like this.
taewoo ? on 00:08 - Feb 5 with 1875 views | Northernr | Unbelievably harsh criticism. Done little wrong in his two performances so far. Is this because Bothroyd isn't playing any more, we need to carve apart somebody else?

I don't recall him hesitating at any point? There were a couple of occasions where he had to think a little about the pass he was trying to make, because the space was tight and he needed to double check the direction and momentum the player he was passing to was going in (smart), but also, as he doesn't know his team-mates well enough yet, it's also perfectly normal as well as that's a period of adjustment he needs to make.
taewoo ? on 01:50 - Feb 5 with 1792 views | ealinghoop | Some very harsh criticism after only two games especially today as I don't think there was much more he could do, remember as good as he played Taarabt didn't offer much protection in front of him because Taarabt was rarely on the left wing but having said that I thought Taarabt put a good shift in. As for taiwo he did nothing wrong for either goal there right winger never got past him from what I remember and got forward near the end whipping in some good crosses, also he's hardly match fit having played no more than 4 or 5 games for Ac Milan this year, I honestly think he'll be a good signing.
taewoo ? on 01:53 - Feb 5 with 1788 views | FDC | Acotnoman, The prem's a different league, he's not played a lot of football this season and then been thrown into two intense games, give him time to get adjusted. You don't play for AC Milan if you're shit

seems out of his depth...cos he was at ac milan, doesn't mean much, they make mistakes too. we'll see.

"Unbelievably harsh criticism. Done little wrong in his two performances so far. Is this because Bothroyd isn't playing any more, we need to carve apart somebody else? " No I dont think its a case of no Bothroyd so pick on someone else. I think that many supporters are totally frustrated at a number of players who are all supposed to be top quality players, who by their actions recently are not 'top quality'. Quality professionals should be able to 'hit the ground running' and should not need 2 , 3 o4 4 games to get up to speed. We do not have the luxury to wait for people to 'bed in'. By that time we will be bottom of the league. But its not just Taiwo. How the heck do we not win from 2 nil up against Villa and then lose at home to Wolves? Even with Cisses sending off, our 10 men should have been more than amply able to see the win through. Everyone has some blame laying at their door - from MH down through all the players (some much more than other)
taewoo ? on 09:00 - Feb 5 with 1657 views | bosh67 | He looks very comfortable in the final third attacking, not so comfortable at the back. He need to learn to head the ball as well. Good cross on him and he can pass. He looks like an attacking midfielder to me.

taewoo ? on 09:01 - Feb 5 with 1656 views | daveB | i thought he had a decent game, his second game in a new country and he's suddenly shit, people were calling him one of the best left backs in the world last week
