I hate to pi55 on a parade but I expect Diakote will start the same way. Lack of games, touch, and playing in a lightening fast league are not what these guys r used to. It takes time to adapt to the prem. for this reason we need to introduce them slowly and keep 11 bl00dy men on the pitch.

didnt seem at fault for either goal dont remember any dangerous crosses getting past him either,do remember him putting in a couple hard fast quality crosees near the end
granted not set the world on fire but hasnt dived in seems able to pass and cross and was least of our troubles today

cisse game ban
barton cost first goal with poor pass
hall left his man for 2nd goal ferdined had to cover two!

i said the same weeks ago when faulin was getting carried off against mk (fk me how much did i take him for granted)
as for taewoo (sp) didnt do anything wrong today as in get sent off and cost us the game but fk me for someone who plays at the san siro he looked completley overaud today (and villa by all accounts)

I haven't seen much of him in the past but he was supposed to be awesome in France. But in truth - that's why he doesn't play at the San Siro!!

I don't recall him hesitating at any point?
There were a couple of occasions where he had to think a little about the pass he was trying to make, because the space was tight and he needed to double check the direction and momentum the player he was passing to was going in (smart), but also, as he doesn't know his team-mates well enough yet, it's also perfectly normal as well as that's a period of adjustment he needs to make. | | | |

Some very harsh criticism after only two games especially today as I don't think there was much more he could do, remember as good as he played Taarabt didn't offer much protection in front of him because Taarabt was rarely on the left wing but having said that I thought Taarabt put a good shift in.
As for taiwo he did nothing wrong for either goal there right winger never got past him from what I remember and got forward near the end whipping in some good crosses, also he's hardly match fit having played no more than 4 or 5 games for Ac Milan this year, I honestly think he'll be a good signing. | | | |

No I dont think its a case of no Bothroyd so pick on someone else.
I think that many supporters are totally frustrated at a number of players who are all supposed to be top quality players, who by their actions recently are not 'top quality'.
Quality professionals should be able to 'hit the ground running' and should not need 2 , 3 o4 4 games to get up to speed. We do not have the luxury to wait for people to 'bed in'. By that time we will be bottom of the league.
But its not just Taiwo. How the heck do we not win from 2 nil up against Villa and then lose at home to Wolves? Even with Cisses sending off, our 10 men should have been more than amply able to see the win through.
Everyone has some blame laying at their door - from MH down through all the players (some much more than other)

He looks very comfortable in the final third attacking, not so comfortable at the back. He need to learn to head the ball as well. Good cross on him and he can pass. He looks like an attacking midfielder to me. |  |
